anyways i chose Mog chanting as his is unique in my point of view

I'd say Kefka surprised and Mog angry tie for first. They're the most humorous, in my opinion. Since the latter isn't here, I'm voting for the former.

Although Strago cape (my current avatar as I write this post) is pretty cool, Gau surprised and Ghost surprised are also rather amusing, Terra hair blowing is a perennial favorite, and Celes sassy shows off her attitude and her attractive physique.

I picked Cyan embarassed.
But for runners up:
Terr's hair blowing is pretty cool, and a heroic pose.
Shadow surprised and Gogo surprised are cool, the only time you can see thier eyes.
Settzer ready gets props because he looks like Rocky about to enter a title bout.

'Cept at times when they don't wag to the sides and it appears as though they're giving you the finger. Especially Kefka's laughing pose, 'cause he kinda looks like he's shooting the double bird. XD

I tend to like the ones that are seen more rarely (like Terra with her hair blowing, Celes chained up...which sounds disturbing...) precisely because they're rarely seen. Aside from that, I like the Ghost's normal and surprised poses.

Good old CoN

I always liked the random nameless soldier sprites, especially the green guys and "the few, the proud, the red guys." Also love all of Mog's and Kefka's, especially the sprite switch between *surprised* to *laughing* during the scene with Geshtahl-- You got me! ..No you didn't! You got me! Eh, wait, no you didn't! I just loved how he toyed with the old guy. As far as global sprites, everyone's surprised sprites are better than any others.

Hey, just one question. Is this strictly for the ones that're in CoN's avatar gallery or just any of them? If it's the latter, there's a far more complete listing here. You'll have to navigate from there yourself to see them all but it's quite nice to see such a large list of them.

As for me, I like them all. I do like some more then others but I simply cannot choose an absolute favorite. I'll null because of that. Yes, I know right now that Relm Laughin's my avatar right now but that's for somewhat differnt reasons I already posted in other threads. Anyway, if you must make me choose, I might like to take note that Terra Surprised, Kefka Surprised, Celes Ready and Edgar Chanting seem to stand out at this current moment in time.

I like ALL of these 5 character's looks, sassy, etc.

This is kind of random but slightly on-topic, but I've always liked the townsgirl sprites with the red dresses. They look like they're in corsets because of how they made their waists!

Edited to put in "Corsets." I always forget random, important words. ^^;

It's one of those things that really only works in video games -- like finally seeing Cecil's hawt face when he becomes a paladin. The whole game, Terra has her signature ponytail, and at the end when she takes it down, her hair's blowing just as it is when she's in her Esper form. Really amazing.

I don't know, it's something that kind of gets played on in movies, too. Like in She's All That and any parody(ies) of it like Not Another Teen Movie in which Janey Briggs "becomes attractive" simply by wearing her hair down. (Of course all of that stuff can ultimately be traced back to Greek myths like Pygmaelion [sp?] )

Anyway, I voted for Terra's hair, but I also like whenever Kefka laughs.

Hmmm, I'd say Edgar waving his finger, casting a spell, or attacking are some of my favorates. What can I say, Edgar was adorable. Setzer at the ready and Terra in Esper Form (At the ready especialy) Get honorable mentions as well. Terra made pink look cool
