Not sure if its a problem with my disc or what but on disc 2 after I have got the "Key to the Ancients" I head back to the Ancient City.

Bugenhagen does his thing and the water appears. I walk up to it the screen goes black and a dialog box from Bugenhagen pops up saying something about the image is being projected on the screen. I click ok and the dialog box disapears.

I got no image no arrow no nothing.

What is strange is that every 10 seconds or so I get this buzzing type bleep quickly sound for a split second then go.

Any suggestions?

It depends really;
are you playing the pc version, the psx version on pc or psx on playstation?

is the disc scratched?, doesn't have to be badly scratched to break

if it is the ps1 version on ps1 or ps2 then it is most likely you will need to use a disc repairer

If its the Pc version It will be much eaiser to deal with. However like john said you gotta give us a version for us to be able to say much of anything.

If it's the psx version then here's a solution. Load up your save and leave Cloud on a screen which isn't loading. Now open the disc cover and swap your disc 2 for disc 1. The cinematic which should be loading will be changed to one from disc 1 - it won't screw your game up either. Once the cinematic is finished, swap the discs back over. The cinematic you missed shows Aeris and the Materia she dropped from where she died. If this doesn't fix it then I don't know what will blink.gif

It started with Disc 3, then Disc 2, and Disc 1 for me. You could try to use a disc repairer like john aiton said. I had alot of difficulties with loading my files but once I used the disc repair liquid it fixed alot of my scratches, although not all of them sad.gif
