Yeah, I was like 'wtf? She just sort of...slumps over."

Also, they really messed up the scene where Cayenne says farewell to his wife and son...

This might be stupid, but are you talking about the scene where Locke saves Celes from being executed?

How did they mess up the scene? It looks the same to me of course I have no idea what they were saying was it something in the dialoge?

In the original game, there wasn't any music playing when Cayenne said farewell to his wife and son. Now, they seemed to have accidentally played the Phantom Train theme when this scene occurs. And if you ask me, that music doesn't exactly compliment the scene well at all.

In an aesthetic sense I couldn't agree more.

But from a gamer's perspective it will have minute impact.

Although it is disappointing after all the upgrades from FFV that FFVI should get downgrades. It just goes to show Square is getting lazy.

I paid no attention to that scene whatsoever. It looked the same I guess.. Maybe I'm wrong. It's too bad to see that they've changed some parts that instead made it worse. I heard a glitch song of The Phantom Train start to play after I rested at the Figaro Castle Inn, but it faded.

Why did they do that? To me that scene shows the brutality of the Empire. Maybe it was a question of memory space.

Then wouldn't it make more sense to just not play any music for the scene, then? tongue.gif I'm no expert in programming, mind you, but it just seems logical to me.

I think Square screwed a lot of it up...i mean, in Nintendo Power they say the entire lyrics for the celes scene are different, and, not to divert off-topic, there are a lot of musical and esper-like changes in the content. 4 new espers, two new characters, and a brand new opera will decide the ultimate fate of this port for loyal gamers everywhere as to whether this will be fantastic...or a fluke!

I don't think the lyrics of the Aria de Mezzo Caraterre changing somewhat will really be an issue. Neither is bonus content that is meant to justify buying a port.

Furthermore, Gastra/Leo being playable characters was just another hoax.

Edit: I need to find scans of this issue of Nintendo Power...;_;
