Could you guys tell me specifically, where he is? I've done all the Mognet crap, but I can't find that hole in the sea anywhere on the floating continent!

Keep flying west from the floating continent. If you've recieved the Four Old Men's fourth letter, the shadow will be there. Submerge with the Nautilus and enter the dungeon, which is hidden in multicolored seaweed.
And, well, good luck with the boss there.  Luckily, if you're going to try the Onion Knight strategy, you can run around in the little path in the bonus dungeon to encounter nothing but colored dragons, which drop Elixirs, and rarely, the Onion Equipment.Edit: Oh crap. xD Yes, it's east.
