I'd have to say Velius/Belias as he was the (first encountered) "game ender" for me. After that I kept two save files (though I did finish that run-through using a gameshark, it wasn't very satisfying since I was left with 99 chaos blades and such).
They really shouldn't let you save after each battle in those castles, or should allow you to move off the space after each one, even if it doesn't make sense. |

FOR BOSS:
I'd have to say Algus... WITH PASSION... The creator made Algus quite the personality for this guy. The way he acts was wonderful and racism. Too bad he was just a small potato. I even saved a file of the last fight in chapter one. If i get bored. I can slaughter him over and over again just for fun. FOR CHARACTER: I'd have to say Delita. You would probably wonder why i would say him. I WANT TO HAVE HIM IN MY PARTY AND THE FREAKIN GAME DOESNT LET ME. OTHERS: Black Chocobos MindFlayers |

Most hated character... It's a tossup between Algus and Delita. Both of them are know-it-all little punks. Initially it's Algus, but Delita becomes everything I hate about Algus later, so...
For monsters, Glabados Church Members. =P Actually... Those -damned- birds. They have stupidly high HP and attack power considering they're just birds - comparable to most other monsters. And Flight ensures that if you have a Critical character, they -will- be attacked. Bosses...don't really have one. Unless it's Algus again, because Algus completely blows. I like the premise behind all of the other bosses and none of them are stupidly hard, so...yeah, Algus. -------------------- A demon wakens with the night, reviling sun and all things bright. Chapter 1 : Algus Fight
Chapter 2 : Exicution arena Chapter 3: Part 2 & 3 of Rivious Castle Chapter 4: Balk (Magic guns are a pain. and his little army of super monsters are worse then any demon the Luvici summon, sometimes...) There's the fights. One thing I hate is that your party size forces you to lose some people. -------------------- Blah Blah Blah Tidal Wave Spam! |

Playing through War of the Lions, I have never found Belias/Velius more annoying than now.

As mentioned above, for monsters: hordes of chocobos and mindflayers drive me freaking nuts. Then there are the steelhawks (cocatores?) and hyudras in Nelveska Temple; oh, and the new and improved Balk's hyudras.
For bosses: Wiegraf (had Ramza die by Crush Punch, then phoenix him down to be killed again on the next move?) and Algus in the first chapter. In the second, Gafgarion at Lionel Castle gates. Solution to most of the annoyances? Send in the */calculators! Particularly in Nelveska Temple, speed is critical if you're looking for Escutcheon and Javelin 2. Female wizards may get speed bonuses if thief hats are unavailable. I see no mention of issues with guest characters that join your party later, so here goes: 1) No matter what skillset they acquire while they're guests, they'll join in underleveled and with only the most basic abilities. 2) Malak and Rafa's (mostly Malak's) magical randomness resulting in rare success. 3) Cloud's charge time that renders him awesome but impractical. 4) Possible spoilers: highlight to view Not so guest-related, but completing sidequests won't change the ending of the game. |

Character:Algus,he just keeps hitting u with his bow,and then fleeing to hide behind his knights.
Boss:Defiantly the velius battle. The wiegraf duel isn't that hard for me,but the velius battle sucked big time.Took me a long time to beat. -------------------- Can't we get a better mission than this.I HATE CATS!!!! Quote from Naruto |

My least favourite monster fight was at Finnath Creek. Since I play through with Ramza solo, I had a hard time mitigating the damage of all the Red Chocobo's Choco Meteor. I ended up getting frustrated and constantly reset the game when I entered the battle until it randomly generated all Yellow Chocobos.
My least favourite boss fight is definately Belias in Riovanes Castle. I had had no Stone-defending equipment on me when I fought him since I hadn't ever attempted him solo before and didn't know about the whole "I'm gonna cast instant petrify on the last standing person" thing. I was lucky enough to be able to Math Skill my own Petrify spell onto two of his lackies that had surrounded him in a corner effectively making him unable to move. Then I proceeded to belt him multiple times with Holy without any resistance. My least favourite character as part of the story is Folmarv, he just came off as a prick most of the time. Especially the way he treats others around him, although, I did see him as being kind of bad ass in Riovanes, for obvious reasons. |

Quote (Yin @ 18th December 2007 17:46) Orlandu, the game is too easy with him. Agreed thats why I dont use him whenever I'm playing with one of my challenges that I made up -------------------- In order to find your oppenent's weakness, you must first learn their pattern. Once you know their pattern, you can build a counter strategy. |
