Now I hit doom gaze with bum rush 3 or 4 times but i had to run away because it killed 3 out of 4 of my guys.Now does he regain the hpt's that i took off when i fight him again or are they gone for good?

Well, to be honest, I don't know.

I know that when Doom Gaze runs, it doesn't regain HP, but I don't know if that applies to when you run.

However, considering that it's the same enemy, and the battle is ended with an "incomplete status" the same way, I'd expect it not to regain HP in either case. That's my guess.

Defeat Doom gaze is not difficult,select Terra Morph,then toss Pearl Rod could make 9999 damage,so it's easy.

Oh, I wasn't trying to sound rude. Just stated the walkthrough is plain. He doesn't regain HP either way from my experience. Whether you run away or he runs away, he still doesn't gain HP (unless you die or something). That's about it. Sorry, came out wrong.

Anyway, I hope this answered your question. If you really want proof, go and find Doom Gaze. When you first get in battle with him (10,000 HP), hit him once, remember how much damage it was, then run away. Try to find him again, and when you do cast Scan on him to check it out.
