I've repeatedly tried to post a reply in one of the forums and succeeded, but when I return, it is gone! What is happening? Is anyone able to delete anybody else's posts?

So when you returned, did you hit refresh? I think you have some odd cookies issue or something. Try closing the browser, reopening it, then checking on your reply. That should force it to refresh.
Only admins can delete posts, and we certainly aren't going around doing that without good reason. -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

Actually, I deleted the post, and I thought it was a fine reason. The point being made had nothing to do with the topic, and was of interest only to me. I noted the point and deleted the post, since it contributed nothing to the thread.
Sorry I didn't get a PM sent to you about it, but know that the point was duly noted. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

Thanks Rangers51,
At the same time, I added some new hardware and my entire computer was having massive problems, and thinking the two were related, they interfered with this. But THANK YOU for telling me, it's such a relief knowing nothing is wrong! So, I had you delete three posts saying the same thing? -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |
