Has anybody else played it? What are your impressions (plot, gameplay, mechanics, whatever) ?
I've gotta say, I loved it. Its status as a 'game' may be questionable, but there's no denying that it's a breathtakingly original IP in a world of generic sequels. Emotionally, it really engaged me in a way that very very few games do, even including Quantic's back catalogue. I've just completed the story for the first time, avoiding any walkthroughs, so I just picked what felt right for Jodie's story as I interpreted it. I'm now looking to go back and obtain all the trophies I missed/aim for the Platinum. It's interesting to see the different possible endings, and I wonder which one David Cage would class as 'canon' - or indeed, whether there is any plan to delve into the same universe in the future... -------------------- We apologise for the inconvenience |

Beyond Two Souls was unique and I enjoyed the feeling I got playing it. I did not however like the chapters the way it was setup. -------------------- His Divine Shadow |

It's a great game, very entertaining, I played it with my wife. While there is a co-op option, she was happy to observe and view it like a film.
I decided against going for the platinum, I feel the best impact for a game like this is felt in a single playthrough, David Cage even said that himself. But it's nice to have the option to replay and see what else could have happened if you're a big fan. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |
