What are the chances these days I can learn everything about it without buying it? How long should someone wait to post it online after it is released? I am sure I can beat the game in a few weeks if it is too similar to the original. It depends how they create that version. I hope it is longer and more epic for these reasons. I hope the game has difficulty modes.

I don't think we know for sure yet that a remaster is coming? I just did a quick web search and the last articles about it were this past summer, and even those seem to be more rumor than confirmation. If you have any proof of an upcoming remaster, I'd love a link to it so we can put it on CoN's front page.

As for spoilers should the rumors be true: I am a huge spoiler-phobe, so would prefer story bits be spoilered. General talk about gameplay or other aspects of the game wouldn't bother me, though. See my reaction post about FFXVI for a good example.

Why do I want story under a spoiler cut? Because I have NEVER played the original Tactics or War of the Lions. I did play Tactics Advance but I've gotten the impression that's a much different game, though I could be wrong. Tactics/WotL is the one game I'm most eager to play, and I would have played it by now if it wasn't hard to get a hold of a copy. I do own it WotL on iOS, but my current iPhone is a nearly dead 6S with a tiny screen, so not conducive to gaming...

I am not totally gung ho about this yet I am curious. There is probably a reason why they do not build things as sturdy as the could. The story structure and content can remain constant. I hope you have read my posts about the upper limit of fiction. The game does follow some tropes and cliches you would expect. It is still a fun and entertaining game.

The real question is would it stump (me or J7Jase) if terms of difficulty if released? I heard modded versions added a few things yet it did not look complicated after seeing a few videos.

Oh, sorry, I think I misread your post - you want to know if you'll be able to find out EVERYTHING about the game if/when it does launch, so you can make an informed choice before buying it, correct?

If so, then yes, because there WILL be people streaming it on Twitch / doing Let's Play videos on YouTube. Might take a bit of searching to find, but I would expect to find the majority of the game (barring any cutscenes they prohibit from streaming) to be available online. There will also be people writing walkthroughs and other articles.
