I was digging through some bins of memorabilia at my parents' house last weekend and found the second issue of the "Ogopogo Examiner," a newsletter that Squaresoft USA sent out a few times in the early 90s. The issue I found was mainly about Mystic Quest, but I was also entertained to remember that it referenced the possibility that Final Fantasy V was being considered for American release when it was still new, and also what might be the first English reference to Seiken Densetsu 2, called "Final Fantasy Adventure 2" before it was eventually given the "Secret of Mana" name.
I posted some high-res scans to our FB page: https://narshe.me/2BWXSpB -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |
