I'm asking for you to please reopen teh Grand Battle topic. I realize that you've had trouble in the past, and I even said I understood why you closed it, but please give it a chance. What happened back then, may not happen this time. Besides, at the first sight of a spam, you can close it up permanently, and I'd understand because I don't like spammers who ruin topics either. So, can we at least talk about this?

Raistlin, the issue is that I consider the entire topic to be spam. It really is not a discussion of any game, but just an opening for people to spew random, utterly hypothetical thoughts about why x is better than y and why z is not better than y. It is guaranteed to become a thread of trolling, where people comment not upon anything but how bad/good someone else's opinion is.
Here is the deal I'll make you. The thread stays closed, but people can PM you with votes. Any time a "battle" is done and you need to update the thread, PM me and I'll unlock the thread so you can do so, and then I'll lock it again. Everybody wins. This will be the last forum post about this.
