Here's something that I know I won't be able to find out on my own: Where are all the stellazio found? I usually can't even find half of them. thanx.

You can find one in the home of Vivi's grandfather.  It's somewhere near the hot spring.

Also, when you find all twelve, you'll find a 13th in the same place as above.

Are there any points in the game where you can't go back and retrieve them later?  And where does Vivi's grandpa live?  I know it's near Treno (or so the lil dude says), but I can't find it.

As far as I know you can get any of the Stellazio at any point.

He doesn't exactly live there any  more, but Vivi's "grandfather" had a cave near Treno.  It's in the cliff face near a large closeby forest if I remember correctly.

I believe also believe that you can get the Stellazio at any point.  Vivi's grandpa's cave is at the end of the forest where you fight Mandragora's.  I'll be able to give you the location of all the Stellazio next time I post.  I wrote it down somewhere, and I have to find it.

Visit the queen living in Treno. She will tell you that she wants 12 Zodiac coins. These are found thoughout the game. The queen will reward you for each coin you find. Once you gave all 12 coins, go to [Quan] Cave (east of
Treno) to look for the 13th Coin.

Aries: Dali Windmill
Cancer: Burmecia, behind an overturned cart.
Scorpio: [Quan] Cave spring
Gemini: Throw gil into the fountain at entrance of Treno 13 times.
Taurus: Behind item shop in Treno
Virgo: Black Mage Village Inn
Libra: Madain Sari fountain
Leo: Undestroyed Left Tower of Alexandria near Neptune Statue
Sagittarius: [Lindblum] Commercial Square, left side. 3rd screen upon entering the commercial district.
Capricorn: Right path in [Daguerreo] Library.
Aquarius: Ipsen Heritage entrance right hand pillar
Pisces: Treasure chest inside Invincible.

The only one of these that seems confusing is Taurus, and if I remember correctly, it's near the treasure chests in the slum area, behind one of the shops there.  I'm also uncertain if Sagittarius has to be found before or after Lindblum is attacked, or if it doesn't matter.

Well, Neal pretty much covered it.  I just want to reitterate that there are more than 12 Stellazio.  The 13th, known as Ophiuchus, can be found the same place Scorpio is found, but you have had to give the other 12 to the queen first.
