Ok who in FFVI would you think would make the best couple, any character is open and any matchup. For myself, I still have to go with Locke and Celes, I am a classic for that matchip.

I thought of two:
Relm and Gau - IF they grow up. They'd look good together (ont to mention being invincible...) Edgar and Terra - come on people, this has to happen! I've always thought that Terra and Setzer would make a good match. By the end of the game they've both grown a lot, and I think that they would be able to have a mature relationship. The only problem is that Terra would be tied to Mobliz, and Setzer would be off flying the Falcon all over the place. Maybe they would just date until all the Mobliz kids grew up.

If I could play matchmaker...I think I'd bring back Daryl and hook her up with Setzer. They just seemed PERFECT for her. That's the kind of relationship I want, where you can tease each other and have a lot of fun. They just seem like they always had a lot of good-spirited fun together.

This brings up a funny story about a serious story...
Last summer I wrote a fanfic about Terra and Cyan. But recently in retrospect, I think I pulled a bonehead. There's at least a 35 year old age diffrence. I'm not a huge Terra fan but I like the idea of Edgar and Terra together. Edgar needs to settle down and to stop being a quasi-womanizer. Terra has the kids back in Mobilz but she needs someone just for her. Besides, she seems like she would make a good queen.

Celes and Edgar! Personally I think their personalities mesh much better than Celes's and Locke's do. Once C. gets over her "I'm romantically insecure" thing, she will totally have Locke whipped.

I actually think Terra and Locke would make a good couple...Locke might be the freaky type and ask her to change into an esper before they...well yeah lol. Anyway, honorable mention goes to Neal for the Daryll Setzer thing. Oh and Excalibur...I have to disagree. I mean Umaro may be useless and, heck, I never even use Gogo, but Mog being useless?! If I had to pick I would have to say Shadow/Clyde and Celes, they both have that "I don't care about love" attitude I believe would just draw them to each other.
