i think it should have a rider like biggs or wedge, other than that i think its really good
although i don't remember the m-tek armor having a screen... -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

Seems like there's too much empty space in there. Also, I don't think high-tech is the way to go. I always pictured Magitek Armor as more of a rustic machine...you pull this lever to get this effect, etc.

Magitek armour seems abit more... 'machine'-like. As in, you can see the various bits that were wielded together, the cogs and levers. No glass screen, no flashy keyboard or HUD, just a cranky old machine. No disresepect to the 3d modeling, just to approach to the armour!
![]() Oh plus the pics seem really dark, is that intentional? -------------------- Whether you take the doughnut hole as a blank space or as an entity unto itself is a purely metaphysical question and does not affect the taste of the doughnut one bit. http://slightly-bitter.blog.co.uk |

![]() To be fair, that's very nice-looking. However, it doesn't look anything like a magitek armor. -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Well, I guess I should explain myself in some cases:
The reason why some of the pictures seem so dark is because I've been messing with the lighting in 3dmax (requirement), and different poses. The pic silverlance posted is not what I based my MagiTek off of, i instead used these pics. Hrm, I guess I could do multiple levers. The reason for the sreen and HUD was: messing with glass materials, lighting techniques, etc. basically learning the system... Quote Seems like there's too much empty space in there. I feel the same way, but what could I add? I might try the levers later. Quote i think it should have a rider like biggs or wedge, other than that i think its really good Thanks for the comment. Unfortunatley, as far as biggs or wedge or terra, etc. go, fat chance (no offense, but modeling people is really tough) [EDIT] Thx for the assistance guys, now I got some new Ideas for next quarter! ![]() This post has been edited by strikerbolt on 11th October 2005 02:24 -------------------- Neneko is Neneko because Neneko couldn't be Neneko if Neneko wasn't Neneko! --as quoted from Neneko, Mahoraba {Heartful Days} I can stab a man with a thick paperback book thru the ribcage. |
