emulator? I've heard about it a few times especially when talking about FF3. I came to the states in 1998, so I don't know jack about any games on the NES. I have played remixes of FFI, FFII, FFIV, FFV, and FFVI. I also know that FF3 will be coming out on the DS, but I unfortunately don't have one... Any info on an emulator would be useful.

as the name implies it emulates a system (most common is snes)
which you can play games on roms (kindof like habvingthe game saved on your computer)
you just load it in the emulator

or if you're using a psx emulator then you just put your ps games into the cd drive

remember it's only legal if you own the game

So, basically, you did it to be annoying. Notice how you didn't get any information out of me, even though I know exactly what an emulator is. If you want people to answer your questions, you should make sure they know what the topic is about. You got one person who read your topic and doesn't give a confound, and at least one person who might have helped you has probably passed this up because they didn't know what the topic was about.

Also, discussing emulation is one of the big no-no's at the CoN, so you're not likely to find many people willing to discuss this, anyway.

Relax. It may be a minor annoyance, but the question got asked and the question got answered. So all is well.

And discussing emulation is not a no-no per se, or else the "What is your Emulation Policy" topic would not be open. Discussing how to download illegal materials using this site is a no-no, though, and to the best of my knowledge the emulation software is not itself illegal.
