Frankly, I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I really didn't sleep good last night, so I read, and surfed the net, read some more, sketched, layed in bed, and finally, passed out about 3:40am (for some reason, I have in my mind's eye, 3:80am, but that can't be right). The drawing is pretty much correct in the anatomical way, but it's just so... weird. You be the judge of what to make of it.

I think it's supposed to be Faris, but I see hints of Celes in it too. In the near future, I think I will watercolour it (since I did draw it on the same piece of watercolour paper that has Butz).

If this is indeed Faris, she's kinda scaring me.

Edit
I used Photoshop a bit to darken it up a bit. The original sketch was very light, and a lot of the lines didn't show up.

She's scaring me too. The combination of the smile and almost jutting-out eye make her look rather devious. I really like the detail/style on her clothes, hair, and swords, and the way you have her posture slanted and her belt slanted (the belt has a ton of detail on it relative to the rest of her torso, but I assume that's because it's unfinished). If you wanted her to look less insane and take another edge on her look all you'd have to do is change that eye and possibly her mouth and her partially-obscured other eye. I really like what you have, though; I'd be interested in seeing how it turns out.

If it is Celes, it looks like Kefka posessed her..., but that's another story. The eye makes it look really evil...I like it! thumbup.gif

Very nice sketch, she indeed looks scarey, and I can also see that she resembles both Faris and Celes...Caris...Feles...Farles....Carlis, anyone would do.

Actually, all she needs now are a pair of fangs, some elongated ears, and a wee bit o' blood coming out the corner of her lips and she's set smile.gif .

I think this picture confused me into thinking at first that that person was male.

Therefore, I think it's probably a more realistic representation of Faris.

As always, beautiful sketching style.

Wow, that pic is kinda scary... Maybe it's the crazy eye, or the smirk, or something... Who knows. Buuut, on the other hand, it's very nice looking! Very mischevious looking! Definetly not the face you wanna see in a dark alley, lol. I can't wait to see what it looks like, if you watercolor it! thumbup.gif wub.gif

John: So you don't want your screen saver to come on for another four hours?
Me: Where does it say that?
John: Here where it was 240 minutes.
Me: Is that four hours?
John: Yeah, 60 X 4.
Me: Is that four hours, though?
John: ....They'll never take you back in school.

Whatever it takes is what I say. Least you ended up with an awesome picture. Good proportions and the pose is pretty spot on. The subtlety of the expression is kick ass to. Reserved insanity, gotta love it.

I definitely get a Faris vibe, what with the whole pirateyness-ness of it all. Definitely an awesome piece

I like it, but it's creeeeeeeepy. Cool too, though. Very well drawn, can't really see any errors at all to point out!
