This is something I notice whenever I'm saving the game on FFV for PS1.

Sometimes when I'm saving, the screen turns completely blue, and representing the game sprites are little boxes with weird little 'designs' in them (I don't know how to describe the 'design', other than it looks like Walt Disney threw up). Then after I'm done saving, I see the backround turned black, all the writing is two Japanese characters (and so are the... I dunno, border things), the pointer/cursor to select things becomes a helmet, and all of my game sprites have turned into different variations of Faris!!

No other part of my game (so far) is affected, it's only when I save the game, sometimes. What does this mean? Is it just cause of the transfer from SNES to PS1?

--------------------
John: So you don't want your screen saver to come on for another four hours?
Me: Where does it say that?
John: Here where it was 240 minutes.
Me: Is that four hours?
John: Yeah, 60 X 4.
Me: Is that four hours, though?
John: ....They'll never take you back in school.

Well it does the exact same thing when I play it on my PS2. I thought it was just the PS2 that did that.

Never happened to me.

The only glitch I found out was when I was using an item that summons strong to weak monsters (Forgot the name), it didn't work (made that "cancel" sound when you can't select something in gray) and when I went up one item, I selected the Holy Water, and the item I chose first was finally being used instead of Holy Water..

Another common glitch is the ATB gauge. Sometimes it fills pretty fast, other times they are so damn slow.. I think it's because my disc is scratched..

It is better to play the SNES version.. The songs are fresher and the ATB gauge is alot better there. The PSX version is still awesome but gotten worse..

It does that on the PS2. That was a known glitch around the time the PS2 was launched.

Don't knew about that. But , sometimes..when I'm selecting a Blue spell, a screen showing me some Sword magic ( such as Bolt, Ice, Fire swords) shows up, below White Wind spell. ( they're in gray, I can't use them..)

Yeah that happens to me as well. I thought I was the only one laugh.gif My FF Anthology discs have seen some abuse. What with me dropping them, double and triple packing them etc...Good to know I'm not alone.

It seemed to effect me like that when I had analog turned on the PS2 controllers or on the Dual-Shocks.Otherwise, I've had no problem.

It does that to me too. Fortunately, it usually works after a couple tries

Yes. The 'glitch' doesn't seem to effect any game play.
