That would be awesome if they made a FFV movie. Not a retarded sequel, but just like the game except it's a movie. That would be cool to see those meteor scenes and the void suction scenes.. Not to forget the jobs' powers! OMG COOL

, it figures, ye always seem to gots FFV on the brain. While that game may have nifty gameplay, movies aren't based on gameplay. They're usually based on plot and characters which, lets face it, isn't exactly FFV's strong point. But then, I've already said that I don't care to see ANY of the FFs turned to movies, so there ye go.

Console RPG Cliches

I'm inclined to go with FF8 or Tactics becuase they're my favorite in the series, but I think FFVI would be cool to see on the big screen if just for Terra, Celes, or Kefka.

I kinda think FF10 would be well suited for a movie. In other words, other.(and I know it was already kind of like a movie, but it would still be interesting).

If Final Fantasy Tactics: The Movie wasn't reduced to a cram-packed two-hour crapfest, I'd gladly nominate that one. I can just imagine that sweeping view from over the monastery to the highlands to the mountains in the opening sequence. Hook that up to Imax proportions and you'd have me sitting tight for fifteen or sixteen hours.

It could be a silent film for all I care. That's what I'm used to and prefer, actually.

In that case, >P, how about this: Wait until I get out of college and then I'LL direct the entire live-action thing, so that it WON'T suck.

Okay, they'll probably not hire me anyways, since I have like no experience in the field of movie production. I'd only be working off my hunches...which might actually not be that bad, since most moviegoers are laypersons, not expert directors or scriptwriters.

Although if Squenix made a movie of it, I'd be in favor of a Caves-of-Narshe-derived reviewing team, made of certain members around here. (The ones who care enough about it, probably.)

I'd go with ff6, but I agree that it would have to be anime. A cgi airship? My heart would weep.
