I've just recently started playing FF7 and im trying to get all characters Limit Breaks (including Aeris's!) and it got me to thinking... I reckon there should be a hell of a lot more! The second skill take about 10-15 minutes to get (with the help of Fury) but the first ones take hours, because they are gained by the ammount of kills by each individual character! I love Vince's limits, cause he transforms into stuff and kicks arse (speshly with haste!) Cait's are pointless an i cant realy be screwed, even tho hees only got 2. I hope that in the FF7 remake, if there is one, that theres alot more breaks for each limit level, and that they're more challenging to get for some like Cloud, who has all of his by bout lvl 40, And alot easier for weaker characters like Aeris, who is still on her first limit level by lv40... What do you guys think?

What can I say?, limits are obtained by using it a number of times, and by killing a determinate amount of enemies. I train limits on Mount. Nibelheim because of two reasons. First, here comes a group of 3-4 enemies, so killing them with one character becomes easy if you got the right magic, like a Firaga paired with All. Works great!. The other possibilty is a Dragon, when he comes, I control it so he hit one character to full his/her Limit gauge. Then I use the limit on the Dragon, who survives then I heal the dragon, and control it again.
Maybe you should check CoN's Limit breaks guide , just click here.

well limits take a certain amount of uses to unlock part 2 (i believe its 9 7 and 5) and then you need to kill 255 enemies with that character
(note once you set your limit to the next level is when the enemy kill meter takes affect)
and also you need all of their natural limits to equip their level 4

i don't mean to brag, but i've made a habit of getting cloud tifa and barret up to their level three limits (i.e. cloud has finishing touch) at the chocobo ranch

and all three of them are usually about level 22

my favorite set of limits has got to be cid's jump, dynamite, hyper jump, dragon, dragon dive, big brawl, and highwind boy is highwind an awsome limit

I dunno if i didnt post clear enough... but the point of my post was ment to be a discussion on weather you think that the FF7 remake, if there is one, should have more limit breaks, and make all of them more chalenging to obtain.

In a remake (god forbid), I'd just rather the limit break system be left alone. It's by no means perfect, and it's pretty easy to breeze through and get all limits, but it works well enough that "improving" it wouldn't add any more entertainment for me.

If you mean that each limit break would be obtained through some way that didn't include mundane enemy harvesting with summons (Capparwires!), then I'd probably go for it. I'd still be skeptical, though; tampering with things that have a fairly good synergy with the other aspects of things just seems needless.
