Where can you fight an Exdeath-looking sprite without having the Exdeath battle music? What is the name of that enemy?

I'll have a shot, and give you folks an easy one.

Care to name the enemy that drops a tent consistently and it's location?

Not quite. I may as well mention I'm basing this off of the SNES version and the ROM, but though there is a Drippy monster in the game, as far as I know the monster in question does not go by any other name. If I've screwed up, please let me know. pinch.gif

WHOA WHOA WHOA...Slow down, people!

Edit
I only asked that question 3 1/2 hours ago!

Yes, the answer to my question is indeed ExdethSoul, and it's in Kuzar, the Sealed Castle in the third world, 'Exdeath's World'.

Thus, alphasmart does get the question, which is up for grabs, which Mimic then picks up.

People, remember the rules of the rules of trivia threads! Don't post a new question before the outstanding question has been confirmed! (Please...I don't want to see this thread shut by the mods.)

I just did a quick check on rpgclassics.com, and it does confirm that Drippy drops a Tent. I'm fairly sure that the enemy's name begins with a D and I'm positive of his location. I'm sticking with my previous guess, and prolly won't guess after that 'cause I cheated (I try to answer all these threads using only my memory...makes it much more fun and a little harder. Otherwise, it's just whoever can look up the answer the fastest). happy.gif

Edit
Actually, Mimic you're right. It's not Drippy.

Alright, this thread is due for a serious bump. I answered the last question correctly in the other FFV Trivia Thread, AND this is more than 2 days old, but in case there is still any doubt in anybody's mind, the answer to the above question is Pao.

I'll start this off with an easy question that can easily be solved if you know where to look:

State one working method for defeating Omniscient using a team of three Berserkers.

Edit
I misspelled anybody's. Malus Caesar, malus!

Would be difficult to do with some Berserkers, yes?

Equip at least one berserker with a weapon that mutes (either by special effect or by attack-casted spell) the target upon a successful hit. If I remember correctly, that would be something like the Mage Masher axe or something like that.

If that's wrong, the heck with it. Someone else can have the fun of answering.

Arming the Berserkers with Mage Mashers (those are daggers) is indeed the way to do it.

All yours, pal!

Q: What is the name of the piece of equipment that reverses the healing effects on your character, and in what area is it found?

thumbup.gif Yes, it is indeed the bonemail found in the Valley of the Dragons. Locke's Alter Ego gets it for being the closest and the first. (Hiryuu Valley I believe translates into Valley of the Dragons... but I recall it being Valley of Dragons and this website confirmed it.)

Syldra? (Doesn't look like it's map sprite, but it doesn't even have a battle sprite to start with anyways.)

Good guess but i dont really count that cause we dont get to see anything more than its head throughout the game till you get to summon it. Good try though.

Well, really, there could be a few answers to this. There's the answer GMH provided, there's Chocobo, Odin, and Phoenix for the same reason, as well.

However, I THINK the answer you wanted was Carbunkle, since he looks like a cute little rodent thingy when you summon him, as opposed to that beastly thing you fought in the castle.

Carbuncle is close but not what i was looking however was stated in the answer you gave. Phoenix was the answer, even though carbuncle looks cute and cuddly when you summon it it does some what reasemble it self when you fight it. Phoenix however isnt even close to its orginal form.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
It goes from a dragon to a fire bird.
Which is completely different. So for stating it in the answer i will give it to you.

Eh. I don't feel like I answered it. My real guess was Carbunkle; I was just listing other possible answers since I was almost positive Carbunkle was it. blush.gif

I would feel guilty if I took the next question, therefore I'm puttin it up for grabs. thumbup.gif

Well, it's been over two days, so I'll take it I guess.

Just for the record, the boss who uses every blue magic spell is Azulmagia/Apocalypse (depending on which translation you play), and I believe he drops a Black Robe.

I'll make it an easy one: What is the name dagger that can be found in Mua village in world two, and where, specifically, is it found?
