Question about shadow in the WoR

Now I'm not sure if this is against the rules or anything but I can't seem to find him anywhere, I have checked the walkthrough but couldn't find him, I beat the game a few hours ago and I had everyone except Shadow (who I saw in the end as a head-thing and ...Thamsa I think) could someone tell me how I get him?

On the floating island (last part of the WOB) ye had to wait for Shadow and NOT jump on the airship. By the last 5 seconds, Shadow joins up with ye. In the WOR, ye would find him in the cave by the Veldt instead of Relm. If ye found the Striker in that cave, wager it in the coloseum, beat him, then he joins ye. If ye DIDN'T wait for him, ye lose him for good.
