Two sprites the only FF sprites i ever made. Vincent & Cloud. It took me like six hours. I think they're good but if they need touching up let me know.

Woah... those are pretty dern good! Did you edit them from something else, or draw them yourself?

One thing: should't Cloud and Vincent be about the same size?

They are about the same size, except that's thrown off a bit because Vincent is floating in the air.

Hey, good job with manipulating the DBZ sprites. I know it's something that I like to do on occasion.

Of the two, I'd have to say that Vincent is better.

Vincent is still at least half a head taller than Cloud there, but obviously only because Green Dude there whose name escapes me is also a lot taller than Goku.

I have to agree that Vincent is the better of the two. Cloud comes off as rather stumpy.

Not bad. I like your Vincent. But your Cloud sucks alot.. I think you should make Cloud's legs bigger. He looks like a damn midget if you ask me.

I don't think HD is the kind of sprites for you.. Edit the sprites from Dragon Ball Z Super Butoden 2 and 3 because they have better bases.. Trust me. Oh, BTW: .JPEG files can ruin the quality. Save it as .GIF or as .PNG because it is alot easier to edit again.

Trust me HD is for me, you just havn't seen the rest of my work. BTW i don't use .JPEG .GIF or .PNG. I stick with Bitmap.

Umm.. Ok.. I didn't know that Vincent could fly? And btw, if he could, would there ever be such a thing as the "float" status in FFVII?

Btw Bitmaps make the sizing too big. And I think you should remove the blurs (It's starting to hurt my eyes) and restore its size to its actual size. Making it big would make it look like a picture rather than a sprite

Why is he floating? well when i first made him from piccolo i didn't bother to change his feet. And well didn't he like fly out of his coffin when you first get him?.

(Anyway) Why i made it bigger was becouse it was hard to see without zooming in. But here you go.

Eh.

They're so-so.

But they're measurements are hecka off.

And there's no detail to the major parts of their body.

Such as Vincen'ts metal arm and his boots.

I agree with slight smile. I forgot to mention to change cloud's hair and face, and give him darker colors. They look pretty bright.. Unhealthy

But they do look good overall, I know for a fact how hard it is to find the right sprites to edit into another. So great job, just keep working on it (yes I know, it's long and tedious) but the end results should be promising.

Thank you everyone!. Your post have really help me out a lot. Here are the new sprites. I changed the colour on most of them. Changed cloud's hair and clothes slightly. and vincent's glove slightly. Made them a li'l bigger.

Hey, why don't you make a buster sword for Cloud and put it behind his back? So it would look like he is holding it with a stern face instead of a Goku copycat touching his head? That would work. Btw, the hair is excellent. It's just that there seems to be no more strands to the left.. Look up a Cloud picture carefully and you'll see long spikes on the left.
Nice improvements..

About the shading on the belts (brown one).. I think you should find a better light source. The up and down shading is horrible. Imagine a light source coming from your left and shade it like that on it. Contrast from darkest to brighest going left all the way to right. And not to be a critic, sorry if i am, but Cloud's right shoulder is too flat (It needs to have those little pointy stuff for the pattern).

Ok since you didn't say anything about Vincent i guessing he's good. About Cloud. I like his shading so i'm gonna leave it . I remade his face all the way but kept the hair and added his sword at a 90 degree angle. So take a look!
