does anyone have any japanese site links? preferably ones with those beautiful fanarts, but if anyone can give me one like a character dedication site, that will still work. thanks

There's a Webring here, which is a good place to start, though you may have to dig to get to the good stuff. Links off of those sites and Japanese search engines are also a good place to look.
I have a whole bunch of stuff bookmarked, but didn't post any because you weren't specific. You said character dedication sites, though you might want to pick a character first. ^^ Just curious, why are you looking? FF6 Syndrome is also a good launching point. You'll probably want to develop your Japanese-site-navigating skills, which come with practice. Rudimentary knowledge of katakana won't hurt, either.

As promised....
RPDI - Ensemble, quite a bit of Sabin art. Third box on the sidebar contains sketches and rough work. "Pict" leads to the colored work. Empty.f2 - Very pretty artwork, mostly Edgar. Light, light hints of slash, and though I think it could be simply construed as friendship, steer clear if that kind of thing bothers you. Mein Schatz - Small but growing selection, containing some of my favorite artwork of Locke ever (a slender, pale, shirtless Locke lounging in a chair with a beer bottle? GUH. Excuse me while I drool on my keyboard). Sakizou - Gorgeous, ethereal artworks. I'm kicking myself for not saving the older ones while they were up, because they've been all shrunken down, and most of the detail has been lost. Woe. Flying Colors - Ensemble. A little more cutesy than my usual fair, but I thought I'd put it up anyway. Jesus Master - Ensemble. Again, the art isn't really my taste, but it's still nice. My Boom. - Saved purely for the visual factor, because really, Edgar/Relm skeeves me so, so badly. Everything is PG, but if the thought alone makes you ill, steer clear, because the pictures won't help, cute as they may be. Yuccoshi - Old but good, all about Terra. There's even a section for Terra/Sabin, one of my favorite pairings. Allizarine Crimson – Also an older site. Edgar/Terra, and while that pairing doesn’t interest me in the least, it still is very pretty art. Jon na Jona - Mostly Terra. I'm getting real lazy with these descriptions. Pantomime - Mostly Locke. Tenri – It's a Shadow site! The artwork is very colorful, and it has an almost…rainbow sheen to it. Kokuritu Syounen - Mostly Celes and Terra. Middle section, brown links. I got more, if you want. I'm just lazy, and figured some had too few pictures to be worth putting up. -------------------- Wilson: "That smugness of yours really is an attractive quality." House: "Thank you. Woah some of these are good I like the Jesus Master one alot it's really artistic... and not cliched as much I like it alot!
