i agree with sam, fft is a war story, not romance. Pretty much anyone that Ramza met was either saved or killed. If Ramza truly loves someone, its Alma but not in a incest kind of way. The only ones that actually had a affair was Delita and princess Ovelia, or so I think.

I've determined that Ramza's love interest is actually "Flower Girl", and that he and Cloud get into a vicious battle over her affection. It's all in my new Fanfic "Flowers for the...Damned"!

Quote (GooseKnight @ 3rd August 2005 15:54) This is a subject I've never really put much thought to but... Possible spoilers: highlight to view What about the long-shot possibilities of Dycedarg and Teta? Before you say beyond a reasonable doubt "no freaking way" consider this; Dycedarg could easily be a hedonistic playboy. Honestly he's a power-drunk, rich kid who sees no boundaries to what he can do (on a personal level...he doesn't have superpowers until he gets a zodiac stone) So...perhaps he seduced Teta, knocked her up and in order to neutralize the situation had Teta kidnapped by the Death Corps (he did have connections...Gustav(?)) and then had her killed on the pretense of not commiting troops to save you commoners...or whatever the Algus quote is. I mean the Hokuten army were facing one guy in a fort with one hostage. Why would they just randomly decide to shoot Teta? what's the motivation? besides disposing of dirty laundry? Hmmm.... with your permission, GooseKnight, I could make this into a pretty sweet fanfiction. It seems like a pretty good theory.... I could easily believe this after watching scenes with Dycedarg. Someone who would kill his own brother I could easily see doing something like that. -------------------- "No matter what happens, I will always be with you... forever." ---- Pocahontas, Pocahontas "Only those who are already at the top are rewarded without trying."----- Delita Hyral, Final Fantasy Tactics http://www.ffshrine.org/fft/fft-midi/1-42-back_fire01.mid ---- My favorite FFT battle song |

Well, Dycedarg (my favorite FFT character next to Ramza) strikes me as a kid (though much older kid) with power who feels he could do what he wants with it, much like Leonardo DiCraprio as King Louis in the Man in the Iron Mask. I could see him as a royal playboy of sorts.

Meluda too bad she died :-(. If she hadn't she would have joined and she and ramza would have hit it off big time.

Many people say that FFT isn’t a love story, and yes it’s true. But that doesn’t mean that Ramza never developed feelings for some of the people he met. Who knows? Maybe he was just too shy to say it. Maybe the producers did want to hint a little bit at love, since there are quite a few scenes/quotes that show this. Ramza and Agrias are most likely friends. Agrias seems too old and never showed much affection to Ramza. Ramza and Rafa seem like a good couple, but Ramza knows how it’s like to be with a sibling that you love so much, that you aren’t willing to give him/her up. Hence, the scene at the top of the castle was more about understanding, not love. Meliadoul does indeed say something about love in her quote, but it could be towards Izlude. It doesn’t necessarily need to be about Ramza. The last couple I’ll mention are Ramza and Alma. Yes, these two are brother and sister, so of course they love each other very much. As for whether this love is brotherly/sisterly love or true love, I’m not sure. Let’s remember that in WA2, Irving and his sister did get their groove on with each other.
