Hey folks!

Some serious changes have occurred to FF3 Eternal Crystals. Version 3.5 is now available to download on my website :

http://www.geocities.com/metroidquest/FF3Eternal/index.htm

Keep in mind that you will need an original FF3 rom and something like SNEStool to patch the IPS.

For those who have never heard, this is a hack of FF3 US that I have been working on over 3 or so years (sporaically). It was originally posted on Zophar's domain, but that site is now inactive.

I am very glad to see that the popularity of FF3- Eternal Crystals has spread to this fantasic fan site. Thanks for playing!

Enjoy!!!

Makou

Who are you? And why was your first post here to advertise something that we've never heard of? Kindly PM me at your earliest convenience to determine why this shouldn't be against our advertising rules.

I've heard of it. I made mention of FF3:Eternal Crystals in the "have you played any good hacks?" thread. This is the author of the said hack.

I guess this would be classified as against the rules, though.

I've heard of it and played it as well, R51... it's an excellent ROM hack. INFINITELY better then a certain other, more well known hack... (coughSAcough). Anyway, glad to see you signed up here, Makou!

yeah this is a really good hack. i still haven't finished, but so far its great. i like the limited distribution of magic, makes you concentrate on other skills of the characters.

I can't really comment as I've never encountered the patch earlier working three years on it is a decent enough feat by itself, though.

But what do you mean with "Zophar's domain, but that site is now inactive."? Last I checked, and that was a minute ago, the site was looking as alive as ever.

Not the message boards, the site itself. It hasn't been updated since late June, and before that, not many updates to speak of. Rumor about the reason why is because they're overhauling the site, but who knows.

And I have to agree with R51, this is advertising. Too bad since people seem to like the patch. :\

We've come to an agreement, MZ, and the link will be staying for the time being. If that's all that Makou has come here for, though, I'm sure he'll find himself disappointed later.
