This is for something I'm beginning to work on, it's not the final product since I plan to color it using pastels and colored pencils (maybe some other medias).

Hmm. Not bad!
Problems: - The crosses have a bad shape (they're not equal sizes). - Needs detail in the grass. I see just plain white. Yeah Paranoia Agent is a good show. BTW Maromi looks good. This post has been edited by NeoEx-Death on 6th August 2005 20:20 |

I've never seen Paranoia Agent, but that's a good picture ya got thar. Me likies teh cute widdle uhhh... what is it? Looks like a dog, but you can never tell anyway.

I do not know what Paranoia Agent is, but merely from looking at the picture, I have a few comments:
1. Your sketching style overall is quite nice. 2. What's that thing in the top left corner? 3. Why is she so strangely (abnormally?) thin and tall? 4. Haha, reminds me of somethin' outta the show's opening. I like it!
A few things seem underdetailed, however, like her hands, especially the left one (from her left). I believe the whole picture could benefit highly from a bit of shading, though you'll probably wait and do that whenever you color it. Maromi looks like it's (he's?/she's?) missing its arms. Maybe you should draw them in front of it, dangling over the girl's arm it's being held by just to make 'em more visible. And GMH, unless I'm horribly mistaken that line to the left of her hair is indicating a side part. I thought Maromi was a woman? I dunno, I haven't watched enough Paranoia Agent to really pay attention.
I like your picture, and I have nothing to add as far as criticism. Not bad for an early effort. Your anatomy needs a little work even by the most stylized standards, particularly in the neck, shoulders, and torso, but you did manage to work in the beginnings of a dynamic pose and some nice depth to your backgrounds. Study some proportions for the future, and keep trying.

The only thing that bothers me about this picture, is the size of her hips and thighs. The hips would probably be fine otherwise, but she has huge thighs. It kind of makes her look fat from the waist down.

Yeah I know, it bothers me too, I changed it since I got a lot of complaints that she was too thin, but I can't fix that now, the ink and marker has already set in so she's gonna have to live with those thighs
 But I was debating on how to fill in the background and at first I was going to add a photo of the sky in the background, but it just didn't blend in well enough. So I decided to add a Water Color backdrop, since I haven't done it in such a long time so it'll help sharpen my skills. Also this pic is for a Paranoia Agent fanfic that I'm working on.
