does !Flee and !Dustb count for escapes to boost the chicken knife?
and how many escapes does it take to make it do its max, what is its max for that matter? -------------------- There are three things I cannot tolerate: cowerdice, bad haircuts, and military insurrection, and it is very unfortunate that our friend Vegeta posseses all three of these. |

Anytime you can run away from a battle, the Chicken Knife gets stronger. But, I don't know how many times you have to escape in order for it to gain its maximum power.
-------------------- John: So you don't want your screen saver to come on for another four hours? Me: Where does it say that? John: Here where it was 240 minutes. Me: Is that four hours? John: Yeah, 60 X 4. Me: Is that four hours, though? John: ....They'll never take you back in school. xD; |

I would just run away for awhile and then check it's power. It's power DOES still increase even when you have it, so just equip it on somebody and run. It's max is 127, but you'll know when it's done increasing when, after 5 or so escapes, it doesn't increase anymore.
I think it goes up one point every 2 or 3 escapes...I forgot the number. -------------------- Is PJ |

I hate the Chicken Knife.. There's just something fishy about it whenever I'm attacking.. There's a good chance I'll just "Escape" once I select Attack..
I think Chicken Knife is another way of using !Dustb or !Flee. I like Brave Blade better.. Because I train alot on the Emulator ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The Brave Blade is the strongest weapon in the game, if you don't run ever (which is usually the case), but the Chicken Knife is a better choice in most SCC's, such as Mystic Knight and Thief...well, actually, anything but Knight really.

on gamefaqs the perfect game guide says that the chicken knife is stronger cause of the speed calculation (if u run to make it 127 that is)

Correction: the Chicken Knife deals more damage, and that's only if you mastered Monk and Thief (well, usually). In the case of a SCC, when you use only Knight for an entire game, the Brave Blade will certainly be stronger.

Honestly, I've never used either. I've never been one to run away, thus the Chicken Knife is useless to me, but I don't like the idea of a sword that gets weaker when you *do* run.
![]() Besides, with the Ragnarok and Excalibur on a Suppin with mastered Ninja and Archer, you can do more damage than is necessary to kill most enemies. |
