Oh, favorite cutscene! I was about to say that there were only two FMV sequences, so it wouldn't make for a very interesting topic. tongue.gif

Well, Gafgarion and Olan are two of my favorite characters to follow, so the few cutscenes that involve them are the ones I most like to view. Gaffy's nonchantly sinister and unforgiving while Olan's drive and sacred cause is enough to set him apart from any other regular NPC.

Gafgarion doesn't get that many scenes, but when he meets with Dycedarg and when he unveils himself at the execution site, those were all pleasing to watch. The mentor/student rivalry that goes beneath the surface is a fun thing to watch develop.

Olan scenes are all good, but I like the meeting at Goland, Grog Hill, and when Olan goes to Ovelia with a "secret," but doesn't get to tell it to her. His character is just so interesting that it's hard not to like watching him play his part.

He's on my list as one of the "5 Most Important FFT Characters," too. wink.gif

I am partial to the cut scene in Warjilis Trade City where Delita accosts Ramza as he is getting off the boat. You really get to see the person that Delita has turned into post Ft. Zeakden. You only caught small glimpses previously and he is also semi-honest with Ramza about what is going on and what he (Delita) is capable of.

"It would be best to keep your nose out of certain things; like princesses and stones."

That is a quote I quite like from that scene. biggrin.gif

Also any scene Gafgarion is in is always entertaining. Oh, the scene in Riovanes castle when Vormav is cleaning house is also interesting.

I loved the opening scene in Orbonne Monastery with Princess Ovelia praying in the presence of Simon and Lady Agrias mere moments before Gafgarion and his entourage of fencers, Rad and Ramza, enter. The music is calm and tranquil, too. BUT, my favorite scene woud have to be Duke Dycedarg's meeting with Rofel of the Shrine Knights, giving Dycedarg the Capricorn stone to coax him into joining their cause, and though he refuses to become a Shrine Knight, he doesn't refuse Adramelk's calling. General Zalbag's visit to Balbanes' grave, Cardinal Draclau becoming Queklain, and Prince Larg's assassination all get honorable mentions as well.

There are quite a few cutscenes that I enjoy. One of my favorites is the one between Gafgarion and Dycedarg. However, my all-time favorite is near the end when the shrine knights come after Funeral. Especially the part where Vormav slaps Funeral's hand aside.

Whenever my brother wants help up, I always slap it away and say, "that kid again"

The assassinations of both Larg AND Goltana were good cutscenes. Also the scene where Delita meets Ramza in a church and says something like "It must be a little dangerous for heretics to be seen in a church" was good.

Oh, and the scene where Delita executes the "traitor" in front of everyone, and we find out later that of course, Delita was the actual traitor.

My favorite part was when Delita tricked the princess into believeing him, even though it was for his own personal gain.

sad.gif thumbup.gif I like the cutscence's at riovanes.I like the way the knights got killed by the shrine kights, and alma couldn't do anything about it.Plus,i like the cutscene where it shows izlude and all the dead knights.Defiantly dramatic and grotesqe. But my favorite cutscene in the entire game is when barienten gets thrown off the roof of riovanes.Ok,we all know he desreved it,plus the part where malak gets shot and killed.that was sad,but still cool

That was definitely a nifty cutscene. Seeing Barinten casually tossed away like the sack of garbage that he was was pretty satisfying. As for Malak getting killed; it certainly showed that he really cared about his sister, although, I wouldn't say it's sad since he was revived shortly after. What is sad is that he and his sis were turned into next-to-useless characters.

Another cutscene I liked was the one in which Zalbag is eavesdropping on the meeting between Dycedarg and Rofel. It sort of marked a turning point in his relationship with Ramza.

i liked the part where the explosion at fort zeakden occured. Not only did it show that Delita would love his sister to the end, but also to give suspense on whether Delita was alive after. I pretty much thought he was a goner after I saw it, but heck, games these days love throwing us curveballs now and then dry.gif .

Even though I hate Algus in general, my favorite cutscene was definetly when he was interrogating the Death corps soldier(it actually might not be Death corps, its been awihle) I liked because it litteraly made me laugh out loud. Seeing Algus kick him across the room just put me over the top. It was pretty cool.

I do so enjoy the Prince Larg death scene (oh the intrigue and treachery!), as well as the scene where they fake Cid's death.

But I'd have to say my most favourite and moving scene is the ending when

Delita kills Ovelia.
It was just so... wow... Perfect for who Delita had become. Although, the Teta death scene was also well done and equally moving.

I also like the scene in which Fort Zeakden gets blown up. But my favorite of all time is the one where Delita comforts Ovelia as she cries. I always thought that one was the most touching; it almost made me cry. T_T

I agree with that. But I like it more for the fact that there was FIRE, FIRE, YEEA, FIRE. (can only really appreciate the fire fire part if you are a beavis and butthead fan, huh huh huh)

For me personally, the most touching cutscene wasn't really a cutscene.

The battle you fight against Zalbag is my favorite. You are basically fighting against your favorite brother, being forced to kill him. That wouldn't be *all* that bad, if he was evil... but he's not. The fact that he has moments of clarity and is able to speak to you himself makes it all that much more gut wrenching.
