Mimes have inherent Martial Arts, Concentrate, and Monster Skill, so they're good at a lot of things. I usually use Mimes in conjunction with the level-up/level-down process for simple stat gain since they have enormous HP growth.

Mimes can't mimic other mimes though, nor can it mimic special characters' commands.

Since mimes can mimic attack damage i mostly use them for attacking boss's and strong enime's. and sometimes to fool around with thats always fun:)

I generally use them for level up/level down trick only, but they can be a nice change of pace (If only I could mimic Stasis Sword)

I really like the mime sprites for some reason

If you really want to use Math Skill to its fullest potential, you usually have to have decent equipment that will absorb or block the damage you might incur. Mimes don't have equipment, so they're not as effective. Miming doesn't consume MP, but Math Skill already doesn't consume MP, so it's usually just better of to not mime the skillset.

Or you can. I mean, it's not a total waste, but there are better things to mime.

Ya that's true, but I've noticed that the bosses with ??? for their hp/ct..... still have one, it just doesn't say what it is. If you can isolate them and blast them with holy 5 times in 1 turn, that would be a quick victory tongue.gif Then when its the mimes turns, they can punch his lights out if he doesn't die.

I'm just saying that when you use Math Skill you should also try to benefit from it. Nuking the field with Holy is a good strategy, but if you equip Chameleon Robes or Excaliburs on everyone, the strategy becomes useless since any combination will help you and hurt the enemy.

Mimes can be used effectively, but it's more fun with diversity. No use ending up copying a copy of a copy, right?

Miming summons seems like a good idea. I haven't really played with it to much thought.

A strategy? I don't call this a strategy, it's only using the most powerful combos in the game that are even unblockable... No MP, No CT, Insane damage, All or almost all enemies. There are some things that are strategic, but using powerful skill such as holy swrod skills or divine knight skills aren't (except if your goal is to cause a certain status or break a piece of equipment).

Yes Mimes are effective while miming summons such as Zodiac, it's insanely powerful. I often wiped out the whole map using a summoner and 4 mimes on Nogias...

A mime in a party of 5 can be easely worth 4 characters. Instant attack are the best here personnaly because you won't have to move again your mime in order to place him/her correctly to take the action (miming a Fire 4 on your party isn't too good for you, you know? [Excluding Flame shields...]). Monks should fit well with a mime. you can launch a double earth slash in just one turn on the same targets (assuming the height difference is 2 or higher). If you mime is stuck, just use spin fist, if your mime's/monk's hurt, get next to him and use chakra for double healing, not great?

Whoa that's a lot of parenthesises...

How is a Holy-nuke not a strategy? You formulate the attack so that it hurts some of the enemies while healing yourself in the process. It just happens to be insanely easy and borderline cheap. tongue.gif

Mimes are cool most of the time but really there just a Pain in the Behind. Becuase Mimes will attack your people as well, You have to always check the location of your mime to make sure he won't wack Mustadio upside the head. Also they don't wear nothing! So basically they get killed easily. Thats is why she is surrounded by other players and smacking them upside the head! Truth, they are good with most magic users and Calculators (ahhh) But the simplist is still the Bard and Dancers.

If nothing else it is definetly a strategy for a quick win, and also insanely fun thumbup.gif
