I wish I had more anime. It's just to expensive (around here that is). I've seen several series, but not for quite awhile. I'll say what I can remember that comes to mind.
Male: D, from Vampire Hunter D: He's the quiet, determined type hero. I don't know why, but I just think he's bad ass. Heie from Yuyuhakusho: I haven't watched it for along time... since it was on adult swim a couple of years ago, but he was always cool. Great bad guy, and even better good guy. Female: Ya know... Not alot of females come to mind..... To long since I've seen some good anime, and I can barely recall many of the females from shows I've seen.... one of my favorite anime characters is Ino from Naruto, but that's just cause I have a ponytail fetish, haha
 no she wouldn't rank in as "best" though.For "best"... Joseph Joestar from "Jojo's Bizarre Adventures". Comical and dumb yet can be serious and clever as well. Jojo has awesome characters. Or, I doubt ANYONE knows this one, but the alien Prince from "Level E" by Yoshihiro Togashi... which never actually became an anime, but oh well. |

Hey, you forgot about Slayers!
Best Females: Lina Inverse ( Slayers...), undoubtely...I like her personality, eccentric, egocentric, materialist, but a good person over all. Akane ( Ranma 1/2) Strong, pretty, this girl can have any boy he want!, ( Kuno, Ryoga, all the Furinkan's boys.. and maybe the whole Japan!) but my favorite all along is that Nausicca, girl..you know. Best Males: Gokuh ( DBZ) He's strong, enjoy fighting, and always save the day...and never give up. oh, and I don't know, Vash the Stampede ( Trigun), Van Fanel ( Escaflowne: the Movie), Ash Ketchup..(!?!) haha..(Pokemon), Dr Slump ( from Dr. Slump)...ñ_ñ... Ramma and Aoi Futaba (You're under arrest) in which category they go?  -------------------- "Its no cheating if you don't get caught" |

Would KOS-MOS and Shion from Xenosaga count? 'Cause if so, they are my favorite anime characters. Mostly because I haven't seen any anime in awhile. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Teen Titans japanimation?

Woo, here we go. I'm lucky I;'ve answered this before or I'd be here awhile.
For females: Cherry, from Saber Marionette J - The moment I saw her, she captured my heart. I fell in love with her the instant I saw her, from her very first "Otaru-samaaaa!" She is definately my favorite female anime character, now and forever. and Kamio Misuzu, from Air - I dunno, something about Misuzu just appeals to me. She's cute in looks, voice and in behaviour. She's just... I dunno, I just find myself liking her. "Gao~!" And for males: It's a bit of a tougher question, I think, but I'd have to say... Fujimiya Aya, of Weiss Kreuz - Just. Plain. Awesome. He's got a killer hairstyle, he's an expert swordsman, and Takehito Koyasu just gives him this awesome "Don't mess with me or I'll kick your ass" attitude. and... I'd have to say... Mamiya Otaru, of Saber Marionette J - Sure, he's pretty much an average guy, but he awakened Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry. That fact alone always made me, and indeed, still does, make me envy him. Yusuke Urameshi (YuYu Hakusho) & Kazuma Kuwabara (YuYu Hakusho) probably score my favourite males. Genkai (YuYu Hakusho) & Kikyo (Inuyasha) probably score my favourite females. But eh. I can never be entirely sure. Oh yeah, and Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Argh, there are too many to choose.
