Don't know why, but... shouldn't Sabin be at least 7ft tall?
I mean he's some really strong guy, but he's only 6' 3.

Before i knew this site existed, i had this belif that Sabin was 7', i mean c'mon! If shaq could do it, why can't sabin?

Being tall doesn't mean much when it comes to strength. You can be 7 feet tall and weak, or 4'10" and be quite strong.

Only 6'3"?? That's pretty tall, there! ^-^ And I don't just mean from my point of view. Actually, I'm kind of expecting SM to come in here and talk about having strength at that height, I think he's somewhere in the ballpark of 6'3".

He's a strong fellow, not some genetic mutation.
Either way, I think six foot three is a fine height, I find it like, a foot taller than me, which is definitely tall enough to make me think that he's pretty grande.

From a leverage standpoint, the shorter you are the stronger you can be. There's less length to put your strength over, so your power is greater.

And if he were seven feet, he'd tower over everyone else in the game. I always figured he and Edgar were in that 6 ¼ range.

My martial arts teacher is about 5' 8-9. He's pretty damn fast, too.

Now, I'm not racist in any way, and I don't mean to be derogatory, but take into consideration the fact that Japanese people are, well, short(I beleive that they are, on average, getting taller), so to them, 6'3" would in fact be pretty tall.

remeber the games are made in japan, they think reletive to their country
for instance in ff7 cloud is only 5'6''

to them that'd be the equivelent to our 5'10''

and as for sabin being 6'3'' as you stated,
what's wrong with that height i know guys who are that tall and can bench 380pds
and rep 340pds

strangth isn't really determined by your height either, you are born with a muscle cell capacity, never being able to exceed a certain strength mapped out by your DNA
so your height doesn't matter, its a completely different section of your bodily blueprint(DNA)

this is what makes people who take steriods look stupid, all steroids do is put you back in puberty, and make men more femine after a prolonged period of use, and makes women more masculine, also not to mention steroids cause tomors in your liver, one of your most vital organs

so moral of the story is; no matter what your strength is pretermined nothing can change that

Sabin and Edgar, being twins, are within the same range of height. If one of them was freakishly tall, it's only logical the other one would be too under usual circumstances. I dunno 'bout anyone else, but Edgar doesn't exactly strike me as a sky-high swinger. Metaphorically, yes, but ya know what I mean.

'Sides, 6'3'' is tall enough as far as I'm concerned. Then again, that's over a full foot taller than I am, so of course I'd say that.

Strangely enough, Sabin's /still/ cool even though he doesn't tower over anyone else (which would mean he'd be, what? a pixel taller? Two?). He's also cool even though he doesn't have the biggest sword ever conceived in the mind of man, or several huge-ass guns. Or many other VG cliches, most of them phallic.
