Fun little game. Well, more like a physics demo than a game.

You press space to start and control the skiier with the mouse. It takes a few tries at first, but it's kind of fun. The ragdoll effect is a little sketchy but plays out very well.

You might want to tweak the speed a little if your PC is anything over 600 Mhz.

Can any of you get down Crash and Burn without losing your skiis and knocking the guy out? wink.gif That was our challenge in college when we'd play this: try to get down that hill AND stay alive. A few of us managed to get there without losing skiis, but with a KOed guy.

Have you ever got over the wall? I managed to get my skis stuk in it. I never managed to get through crash and burn. Why is the demo of that him doing a backflip and then crashing on the first cliff? wacko.gif Oh well. It's entertaining. tongue.gif

Edit
Ok, i got oveer the hill, but the skis clipped the top and i landed face down in the snow.

Pretty easy.

What's hard is doing it backwards; I've never been able to backflip over the wall. The trick is to move the mouse down, and then back up once you hit the slope to jump, then back down again to tuck your legs in.

Little physics lesson: when you're spinning, if your legs are extended and then you tuck them in, you'll spin much, much faster. Try it, works with anything. Including skiing sims. smile.gif

This is what happens when you try to summersault backwards over that wall wink.gif

that's interesting the backwards somersault is exactly what i did on my first try
how long do you think a skiier can remain upside-down?
