hmm, about level 16? You must spend ages leveling up at that part, I wouldn't bother. Just my opinion though.

Usually I'm between 14 & 18 unless I cheat and I'm at 99.

Normally my levels range from 11 to 13, but I also level up a bit at that point(just before junon) to get Yuffie sooner in order to get the date with her. Interesting to also steal yuffie weapon called the "Boomerang" from the bird-plane like enemies called "Formula Ones"(if I remember well) being Yuffie's second weapon and deals a lot of damage at that point of the game when you throw them.

cheating to get to 99 is bad... becauses it raises Sephiroth's hp in the final battle... Cheating to stay at 98 indefinitly is good. first time through that point though I was at about 23, just enough to o that extra 10-30 points of damage, though recently I just (if I'm not cheating) I train until I can kill the Midgar Zolom without having to heal after the battle.

my advice, train in the shinra tower or anywhere you have a resting spot. (and if you meet a SOLDIER, steal!!! you get something cool thumbup.gif trust me.)

Well normally I train to 24 to have the advantage above some monsters ill encounter.

And mostly I leave Midgar on lvl 16-18 although my first playthrough in this game I was lvl 34 before going through the midgar zolom cause I didn't know how to get past him. pinch.gif

I always try to get the advantage over the enemy and I always try to get my chars 10-20 lvls higher then normally lowest lvl and farest I ever got was lvl 27 in Nibelheim mtns. thumbdown.gif

I got past it nicely and am presently in Costa Del Sol at level 14-16.
'Course, I reckon it's mainly due to how you play the game. If you're new to FFs, you might want to go higher for security and stragedy's sake. Sounds silly, but I do think that you aquire a bit of skill playing the games so long! happy.gif

I'm always level 14~16 when I get out of Midgar. Add a few more levels to get a few more Atomic Scissors, killing the Capparwires with summons to get better limit breaks, and finding Yuffie, I'd say I'm about level 19~21 when I go to fight the Bottomswell.

i dont have any specific level that i am between midgar and junon, but i spend alot of time working on limits, so, heck, raise your limits, and once you get bored enough, thats the best level to be! ;-)

I try to stay under 15 until after Costa Del Sol. The game's ridiculously easy as it is. wink.gif I'm usually at 12-14 when I get to Junon. Anything over 15 becomes too easy to deal with. Although I believe I was in the early twenties the first time I played.

Usually 14-17. I find it quite comfortable; you can defeat the monsters efficiently, but not ridiculously easily.

I'd say about 16. That's a solid level, and anything higher is going to thrash everything in the near future. If you're in doubt, use Sense on some enemies, and be 2-3 levels higher than the average enemy level.

My highest level when I beat Midgar, I was at level 20. My lowest level was 12 (I tried to do a Low-Level, No save game only in Midgar).

I get ing tired of leveling up Cloud, Barret, and Tifa at the Shinra Tower.

Im usually around lvl 16-18, then i level to around lvl 26-29 by the time i get to junon ( just so i can beat bottomswell in like 9 turns.) Sometimes im even higher than that, when i try to get all the lvl 3 limit breaks before junon. Its usually around lvl 32-34 by then.

After leaving Migar, I'm usually at level 13-17. I don't think I've ever been higher than 20.

i vary on this, sometimes i try to get quite high level for some reason, like around ~24 leaving midgar. Thats pretty annoying and i dont know why i do it, but whatever ^^

i think the best is, as everyone else said, ~13-17, as this still gives you an edge, but means that you dont just breeze through every fight tongue.gif

By the time I leave Midgar and get to Kalm, I'm around level 16. By the time I reach Fort Condor, I'd say...17 or 18.

Then, I train while finding Yuffie so I can get everyone atleast to level 25, along with getting everyones level 2 limit breaks, that way, I cna spend the rest of disc one getting everyones level 3 limits breaks.

The game is really easy in the beginning because of that, but hey, the whole game is easy anyways, minus ruby and emerald weapon, atleast for me that is.
