Figures I get some good pens then forget to use the darn things.
As an experiment...sorta...I did this one in a manga-ish style, although it's still clearly chibi. Can't be helped, I guess. The colour and detail are good. Although the head is slightlytoo big.
I like it though, makes him look like he's trying to jump out of the screen. |

The head is fine, but the eyes are just... creepy. They're just staring into nothingness.

Nice pop out action. The color is nice and I like the hair lighting. Left arms seems kinda out of place though. Should have done something to make it fit more with the flow off his body. Have it sticking out to his left or something.

Hehe, not bad! I don't particularly like that style, but it's still really good.

I originally had it positioned closer to his body, then considered cutting it out entirely, but decided on moving it to the left more instead. He reminds me of the Adam West character on Family Guy, just dressed up in Paladin gear and giving someone the crazy eye. I laugh when I look at it, and I don't know why.

Wow, that's...interesting.
There are several things that have already been stated, so I won't bother reiterating them again. Very clean job of the line work and colouring. It has a very solid colour scheme going on with the opaque primaries (and a few secondaries). The red of the 'framed' part lends itself well to the mood of "OMG! I SLAY YOU!". I wouldn't describe the eyes as looking off into nowhere, rather an almost maniaical look of Cecil with Berserk cast on him. Nice use of 'coming out of the frame'. It really adds to that determined madman look on Cecil. And yes, it does remind me of Family Guy. -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" "Yes." I'm imagining that he's kneeling from being struck and is looking up at the guy he's about to stab to death. Inuyasha gets that look a lot. :-)
