I don't get this. When are you supposed to do the second battle? It says on this site that you're supposed to do it before you get in the water with "Mr. Dolphin," but when and after what?

after you get to the junon slums, save the girl, go through the plotline till she gives you the whistle - then instead of getting in the water, go out and go to fort condor - you dont lose the whistle

yeah if you reaed in the walkthrough, it says
"...battle @ fort condor before entering the town..." "... go back to fort condor after killing the boss that comes up" or somethign to that extent -------------------- ::Yawn + 15.3236:: There are things that must happen, because otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of its name, for it must happen. |
