I think that a relationship between those two characters would be more of a puppet relationship. Kefka would only use her to further his goals and discard her in the end. Or keep her around in the event she'd be useful to him again in the future.

Of course, past the WoB, he wouldn't have much of a use for her anymore. There are hardly any political strings left to pull for him to ascend to power.

Well I could think of at least 4 good reasons Kefka would like to have a relationship with Terra, and her with him.


Kefka's reasons:

1. Terra has strong magic she would make a great partner To rule the world.
2. He could use her as a "toy"
3. He could use her to have a sucessor/child that would be the strongest mage ever.


Terra's reason:

1. she wants to find out about love.

Kefka's too much of a nutjob to want any pooty tang. That's pretty much the best argument that I can imagine to that relationship.

Hitler did rather well with the ladies, dated movie stars, and died after marrying his girlfriend of 16 years. Being a megalomaniac doesn't preclude a person from maintaining a relationship.

On the other hand, I agree with all who suggest that the megalomaniac in question is warped beyond hope of any postitive human interaction at all. The question is, is Kefka aberrated enough that he wouldn't be interested in such an obvious prize?

The only answer that the game has no answer.

And for the record, Edgar x Relm is wronger than this couple.

Not just Japan. You know incest is all the rage here, too. From FFVI to FMA, you'll find fangirls squealing over brothers having sex. It's....really creepy. I really hate this slash craze that's been sweeping the internet as of late.

Anyway, getting off topic. Perhaps at the beginning of the game, Kefka would be at a point where a relationship is still possible. Well, not a relationship so much, but still able to lust. But by the end of the game, I definitely think he's reached a sort of psychosis where he's considered himself "ascended" beyond humanity, and thus, no longer susceptible to normal thought and emotion. Destruction is the only thing he's capable of by then.

I think the point of this how ever is the fact that it wouldnt ever happen. Kefka as far as i can see is beyond love. I'm not really sure what cid did to him to mess him up so badly but kefka goes beyond a nutjob. He's down right sick, posioning a castle that has his own men in it and killing a kingdom off just for the fun of it. Thats a whole new level of nut job.

Quite simply, Kefka sees himself on a different level then those around him. He uses the soldiers in the Empire for his bidding as long as they suit him. Those in Doma outlived their usefulness. Celes and Terra outlived their usefullness, so he tried to rid the world of them, Gesthal outlived his usefullness.
