The entire campus where I work was shut down for the day, so even if I wanted to work, I couldn't. No barbeque for me, but we did have a nice cookout. Hots and hams...mmmm. I got stuck in fireworks traffic on the way home from taking my husband to work :-P

I love the way we Americanised the holiday which symbolizes our fight for freedom.

I had fun. I didn't set off any fireworks, but I was playing video games until Monday Night Raw came on and afterwards, I spent all night at the bar. I got a great buzz for our nation's birthday and the morning after!
