Chocobo's make the same noise as my cat, and Mogs just say 'kupo!' all the kupo time. Which is really not a redeeming feature. No contest, kupo!

Moogles. Definitely Moogles.

Moogles! Plus, it's easier to dress up as a cute girl moogle for Halloween. White cat ears on a headband with a pompom, white fur minidress, white gauntlets and boots. Cuteness defined! The only way to be a chocobo without a Big Bird costume would be with some kind of costume like what David Brent wears in the episode of the Office when he gets fired. (Anyone else seen that and thought it was a great idea of how to do a Chocobo rider costume?) -------------------- Kupo! |

I'll simply go with the majority opinion, with my own intuition, and with the general sense that little, white, furry creatures that speak "Kupo!" all the time and wear a smile on their face quite often (even if albeit shoving a spear into enemies) are cuter.

It's hard to choose. Chocobos are ride-able with tons of useful skills during combat a la FFT, and fun mini-games in FFVII and FFIX. Moogles have great personalities, small wings, and antennae: it's hard not to like a moogle. I give you credit for your poll options: one OR the other

Oh, "the moogles are so cute"..that's what my sister says, I like the moogles because they're like more than a beast, and least than a Pokemon (?!) and because they say kupo all the time, kupo.

Moogles. The squinty little eyes, little wings, that little ball on their heads... I want one for a pet. Chocobos are great and all, but Moogles just do it for me. That said, "Wark" is better than "Kupo" but Moogles still win.

I only really saw moogles in FF9 (where were they in 8 and 10?)

In FF8, moogles were available for viewing through the Pocketstation (little portable game), but were immortalized in the card game with the MiniMog card. FF8 didn't feature them very prominently, obviously. In FFX, they didn't appear to be around anymore, but there were dolls that Lulu could use that we modeled after them. Another bust for moogle fans.
