rofl, all these long lists.... yeah, that's a really difficult question though. Ah, there are so many...
I've always been fond of the original NES megaman music though. Snakeman's stage has always been a favorite. |

Most of the music from Final Fantasy seven and nine is the best for me. Obviously this includes One Winged Angel and Melodies of life but there's so much other music in these two games which is great to listen to.

ummm lets see....most of FF6 soundtrack, "Another World Awaits You" from FF10 (done by KMFDM

Oh geez, you just asked the WRONG question, buddy. Being a major music buff, I think the music is EVERY BIT as important to an RPG as its story, and there's WAY too many to list. But here's the ones that I thought of RIGHT away. There's many more, mind you.
Pretty much anything from Chrono Cross (best music in a vg, I believe) Same thing for Xenogears (best: June Mermaid, Gathering Stars in the Night Sky, and Flight) Most of FFVI's soundtrack (Locke and Terra's theme, mostly, plus the Grande Finale version of Aria de Mezzo Caraterre) PLENTY others, but those were the first ones I thought of. Anything done by nobuo uematsu his music rocks, the main screen theme for halo, GTA:SA's Radio X , and GTA:VC's talk radio thats hilarious.
