Definately the giant magimaster on the tower thing.. where you get w-magic or w/e he was nasty.. i had maxed health on all(not 9999) just my health to full.. kills him and he does ultima.. = dead for all no matter what.. and i saved it after i got the item.. = i would never win and my last save state was when i was in figaro.

Let me go on the record as saying that WREXSOUL IS THE MOST ANNOYING BOSS IN FINAL FANTASY 6!! I go to so much work and spend so much time getting him out of my body ... I killed off my characters one by one and I always chose the right character last. I would wail away with Bolt 3 and Ultima, and then Wrexsoul would do Zinger and we'd have to start all over again. The Soul Savers didn't help either, they could attack for over 1000 a hit. And it didn't help that my party consisted of Gau, Gogo, and Strago.

Ultros (the first time i fought him it took me ages, and avoiding those rats in the Opera House was a pain)
Umaro (for pretending to be a boss, it took me about 30 seconds to beat him, no joke, and he always attacks at the worst times, like when I was trying to get the Zone Eater to send me to Triangle Island, Umaro kept killing him)
Mog (STOP STUMBLING, DAMMIT!)

But I think the most annoying character i this whole game is (drum roll please)...................LAGOMORPH! Come on, you know its true. How many times have you wanted to unleash Setzer's H-Bomb or Purifier on an enemy, and instead got that spazzy rabbit!?

the last tier in the final battle, just before you fight kefka.
the girl's annoying pearl ability usually heals back ALL the damage i deal in a single turn, and Sleep uses this ability called Train which disables my magic!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! O.O
is there a way of curing that without killing off your characters?

C`mon lagomorph isn`t that bad, he "heal you", at the same time removes status effects, (poison at least) far better than unicorn esper..don`t you think mugu mugu?

Most annoying boss to me was Ultros on the Lete River, just because his single tentacle attack seems to always find Banon...

Am I the only one to level up to around 14-16 before I get to the lete river? I never seem to have problems with ultros hitting banon with tentacles, because he can withstand a lot when I put him in the back row and have him spam health over and over. =\

I'm lead to believe that the most annoying character is Doom Gaze! Just cuz he is never in the right place at the right time!

But seriously, Wrexsoul gave me the worst problems. I've had to restart my game, meaning starting from the beginning because of him..... But I learned my lesson.

Relm is annoying...her lil paint glitch gets to me. (by the way, i only have the old school version....) but i still love it!

when did it start? when did the cogs of fate start to turn?

The most annoying is the Retainer... he uses an instant death attack (Ruin) that ignores relics like Safety Bit (the instant death defense bit is ignored).

Pug (or Pugs) is weak vs the Imp spell (believe it or not).. they are practically harmless when they are Imps.

Wrexsoul..

Well, we know that X-Zone can kill the Soulsavers.. but you do don't feel like doing the quick and dirty way... just do the following:

Learn the spell Break (and Vanish for maximum effectiveness) and make sure no character has a relic that blocks this spell.. when Wrexsoul posseses someone (Zinger).. just cast Break on the party memeber you want to kill. Regardless of whether Wrexsoul reappears, all you have to do to "revive" him is just to use the Remedy spell (or an equivalent item).

Remember this.. death means 0 HP, Zombie status, and Petrify status. The best closest way towards death (that you can induce on yourself) is Petrification. This method is the best method to reveal Wrexsoul (try it, it really works).

Is that right? I'll have to try that on my next playthrough.

Lately I've taken to using X-Zone on Wrexsoul ... he's just too much trouble otherwise.

Atma Weapon is pretty tough because of his West Wind/Quarter attacks. And trust me, he never fails to use them. On my last playthrough, I was doing so well against him ... then he unleashes Quarter and then West Wind. I did a couple rounds of Cure 2, but the attempt was futile.

How do I defeat Wrexsoul?Me,I use Gogo with a Swordbreaker and Cyan's cleave.
(You also learn it at level 70)It usually gets rid of the soulsavers easily.

I personally will have to go with Ultros.He's pretty annoying,turning up here and there,for a reason that nobody even knows.He's also quite weak.

From FFT I mean, I hate Choco Cure, and with Counter, i've gotten be on my gaurd when attacking, or try to attack from a distance, or kill it in 1 hit.

Those jerks always live with about 3 - 4 HP and manage to get off a cure spell.

Most annoying monster to me was...Atma Waepon, on my first playthrough, when i was like 8. I was minded on going through the game with only Cyan in my party so he gave me one hell of a beating....more than once. But, Cyan finally prevailed! Oooo, my yet inexperienced ff-playing self was sooo happy!

Seconded. That guy was a pain.

The souls were a joke, really. They weren't even annoying. But having to kill my people one by one until he'd pop out was so terribly frustrating!

Especially when you're out of phoenix downs and your characters, yes the only one still alive, doesn't know life.

Most Annoying Boss: The Dream Stooges. They would always use their Delta Hit attack and turn my party to stone.

Most Annoying Enemies: Tie between Ninja/Covert, and Phase. Ninjas always use the Fire Skean/Water Edge/Bolt Edge attacks that do mega damage to everyone. Phases cast Stop and do the Blow Fish Attack that always does 1000 HP Damage.
Worst of all, you can't escape from battles with them.

The Three Dream Stooges. I think Moe can use the Life Spell. I was trying to kill him, but I kept ending up killing one of his firends. So Moe used Life on his fallen allies(Larry and Curly) So it took me about a few times to kill Moe.

Sleep(The Third Tier Boss) Well, I was fighting him and Girl, so when I killed Sleep, he had used a magic spell to kill Celes and Sabin, my two best chacarters.

Ultro: I can't stand him. He always come up when you don't want him to be around, that all I can say.

God Kefka - The only godlike Character was my Sabin by the end of the game.
Ultros - If he actualy got strong enough to take more then 2 seconds by the 4th time you faught him.
