Is it possible to breed a chocobo in the first disc? I got the chocolure materia already in level 2 and tried to talk to chocobill and the little kids about buying the stables but it doesnt give me the option to. Help as soon as you can.

I doubt it. I know you get the Chocolure Materia to catch a Chocobo to cross the swamp in the 1st disk but I don't think you can breed them until later.

As stated in our very own Chocobo guide here at CoN, you can't breed chocobos unless you have access to the Highwind, which simply can't happen in Disc 1.

I thought so, just making sure..It's annoying having to go through so many little islands just to get to the one you want, only being able to cross shallow water. Oh well im in disc 2 now. Only problem is i lost my damn disc 2... Anyways thanks for the info.
