In the opera sequence, anyone notice that Celes's song sounds like it may as well have been from Rachel's mouth? The English words sounded vague enough to have some sort of hidden significance.
"Come what may, I won't age a day."
Rachel was put in suspended animation, so that part's kind of fitting.
"For eternity, for me there can be you, my chosen one."
"Ere I walk away, let me here you say I meant as much to you."
The last thing she said, they say, was something about if a man name Locke comes, tell him she loved him.

Either way, it'd make sense to me because they really made a big deal out of FMVing the opera scene, and maybe it could provide some sort of insight to Locke's mind. You know, the way he sort of uses Celes and Terra to cool his inner demons about saving someone when they needed him. So, the two girls kind of played a different part in his life than who they were- like Celes did when she dressed up? Though the crowd saw her as Maria the singer, on the inside she was someone else. Kind of like how Locke sees her as his only way to find inner peace, the truth is, that's not who she is. Am I making sense?

Not sure where I'm going with this, but, I figured I'd get all my facts out then ask what y'all think. ^.^

Most people most likely wouldnt notice that because they are focusing on the well-put lyrics and awesome score, not on the possible origin of the lyrics. Of course, i didnt notice that either.

If it was meant to be a reference to Rachael, it was added by ol' Tee Double-You. According to Wikipedia:

there's really no mention of agelessness in the Japanese version. Cool tidbit though.
