Anyone know if you can get Algus when you meet him at the first battle? and if so can you do it without a gameshark?

Do you mean, add him permanently to your party? Instead of having him fight only as a guest? If you do, there is no way to do it outside of hacking a game save (or maybe Gameshark, but I don't know about that).

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

Yes add him permanently i read if you make it were you control all the enemy's and your units and use talk skill "invitation" on him should have a 25%- 17% chance of working, and what is game save hacking or whatever you called it

To answer the question by the OP that I missed before, though, with the proper equipment and software, notably a Dexdrive and savegame editing program, you can alter the characters in your party, at least in terms of sprites, etc. It can cause odd graphic glitches or other bugs in your game, though. If you play on an emulator, I believe the main savegame editor I know of (and have at CoN) can also edit emulated savegames.

It's not really worth it, because all it does is add his sprite and mediocre skills into your game. Doesn't change the game at all.

you can shark him in - there's not a whole lot you can't get into that game with a gameshark. go to gamefaqs.com and you'll see what I mean.

Yah ok , The only possible way to get Algus in your party is to Shark him in, Nothing else works( for ps1 anywayz) Algus is a low - average Character, Other than the Knight/Squire Slash combo is literally useless, but hey if you like arogant jerks who would back stab you for power, meh be my guest have fun with the game thats what its for. I belive with the question answered , this convo is over

The "Invitation" talk skill does not work on any of the special characters that I'm aware of.

Now then, when someone finds a way to get Delita in my party, THEN I'll listen. I don't care if he comes as a little punk bi*** (Sorry, not aware of the profanity rules, and don't feel like being banned...). Frankly, Algus was pointless, but Delita was always Hardcore.
