Final Fantasy VI: Terra Branford- Maybe it's the green hair (or blonde, it's all up for debate). Maybe because she's confused because she's thrown into a war with little idea about herself or her feelings. Or maybe its how I use regularly user her to go on solo Brontosaur-poaching or Tyranosaur-genocide missions and completely kicks butt doing so. Or I think she's puuuurty.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Possible spoilers: highlight to view The Boss. I cried during the ending. Extremely clever, extremely skilled, a "don't give me any bullshit" attitude. A true patriot she was. ::weeps:: Tales of Phantasia: Mint and Arche. Mint encapsulates a beautiful elegance, symbolizes a pure heart, and is very undertanding of people situations. An ideal person. Arche is just plain hilarious in pretty much any situation, and can bring a smile to someone's face even in the darkest of times. Street Fighter: Sakura Kasugano. Has a serious case of hero worship for Ryu, but that isn't so bad because 1) She's not depressing and brooding like Ryu, 2) despite this, she still has a strong drive to find out what it means to be strong, and 3) she kicks everyone's ass whenever I play her. EDIT: Dammit... why'd did I have to be the top of a new page?! Again?! This post has been edited by RoyalKnight on 14th April 2005 10:46 |

Seung Mina from the Soul Blade series. Cute girl and one of the best naginata-wielders I saw in my life.
Chun Li - nuff said. Sophia Hapgood from "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" - nice adventure game, and little miss Hapgood actually shows both wit and gut. Plus the freaky Nur-Ab-Sal presence. -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Wow, what an easy question.
Without a doubt, the best heroine is Samus Aran. Honestly, how CAN it be anyone else? After all, she IS gaming's leading lady. Metroid was the first game with a female leading role. Not only that, but she stands for everything that is BADASS. HAVE YOU PEOPLE PLAYED METROID PRIME?!? Seriously folks, Samus>>>>>>>>>Everyone else. She's hot, kickass, and a damn good shot. /rant I just hope John Woo's Metroid movie next year doesnt suck. Please God, let it not suck. -------------------- "Dance, water, dance!" -Demyx, Kingdom Hearts II "I met my love before I was born..." -AFI, 'Love Like Winter' from 'Decemberunderground' Currently Playing: Guitar Hero, Shadow of the Colossus |

Quote (Shinjutsei @ 14th April 2005 18:59) Honestly, how CAN it be anyone else? After all, she IS gaming's leading lady. Metroid was the first game with a female leading role. I believe that title belongs to Ms. Pac-Man. Do not forget about the kickass Ms. Pac-Man. ...Y'know, like I did in my list. -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. Sakura Kasugano- Street Fighter - The best asskicking Japanese schoolgirl on the planet.
Chun Li- Street Fighter The anime character that got me hooked on chinese arts. Jill Valentine- Resident Evil Series - One bad ass chic. Ms. Pac man- Namco Classics - The hottest Female Video Games has ever produced Terra Branford- Final Fantasy 6 - A character that you watch grow and develop. as she learns what love is. Call me girly, but she always appealed to me for that reason. Rydia of Mist- Final Fantasy 4 - God bless the summoners. Princess Zelda - Legend of Zelda series - Always admired her, dunno why, just a video game crush from being a kid. -------------------- At times one remains faithful to a cause only because its opponents do not cease to be insipid. If you read a certain web comic named... maybe... VG Cats or something... you might have a whole new outlook on Ms. Pacman.
Also forgot, another heroine that is among my favorites is Saria from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This post has been edited by RoyalKnight on 18th April 2005 21:19 |

Etna from Disgaea, and Lucca from Chrono Trigger.
Ok, so Etna's not really a heroine, but come on! She's a party member; so what if she's secretly plotting your downfall! Ok, the point is, both of them kick serious ass, and aren't too bad looking, either Honorable mention goes to Yuffie (FF7, in case anyone didn't know) Sorry, Yuff': I'd have put you at the top, but you took my materia, and NO ONE TAKES MY MATERIA -------------------- ~ Aurora, exhale bloody air! For One-Winged Angel, you forgot to mention that Lulu's chest is huge, even compared to Tifa's breasts...
