What random enemy (e.g. not special characters) do you hate the most?

Actually,those are called morbals,arhimans,and plagues.But yeah,they do look a lot like bats.I thought they were when I first played the game and I was like

Same here for mindflares , I just can't find anything worse than a battle versus 3 mindflares. You must almost have a char with Punch Art as second ability and use Stimga Magic...
The worst thing that could ever happen to me is: Having a Great morbol standing next to Reis (dragonner) which gets confused an then turns Reis to a Morbol . Can you imagine something worse than that???Knowing my luck with the game, I'm sure it will happen. My second places goes for Apandas (yeah not a random encounter enemy but WHO CARES) I hate their large area effect spells which can petrify/kill/turn undead geeeez!! ^^ Yeah, Mindflares are a bitch to fight.

Upper level chocobos by a mile. The yellow ones are a hassle but don't hit hard. The black ones and red ones can ROCK YOUR WORLD, have long range, and get hurt and run off to heal. So frustrating.

Mind Flares and their variants. I can level my characters up to godlike proportions, only to have their massive strength used against me. Running into those horrible squidlike creatures at high level can prove more difficult than most of the game's boss battles.

Mindflares, Vampires, Cocatorises. Towards the end of the game I go for whatever status guards I can get with maximum HP/MP efficiency, so guarding against said animals' skills rarely comes into play. I guess that's why you keep someone with Punch Art around.

Pretty much any enemy that causes an annoying status effect. Like sleep, confusion, Don't move/act, stop, dead... well, pretty much any dumb side effect other than darkness or silence for physical people.

WOW im surprised to hear nobody put hydras or they're higher levels here. nothing hurts my heart more then not saving for a while and then running into a pack of hydras on the hill area :'(

Mindflayers, Ahrimans, Cocatoris's, Ninjas, Knights and Chocobos. I hate instant death and staus attacks. The chocobos are a nightmare for their healing ability, and combine them with Black and Red Chocobos, all hell breaks loose at my expense. I also hate having my equipment destroyed when not prepared for it.

I hate fighting chocobos. They are soooo anoying! Especially early in the game. You start to kill a random gobolin and then a flock of chocobos come to heal him with Chococure. How much more annoying could you get.

Chocobos would be up there.
Tiamat would probably take the cake if he was there more often. I say chocobos, especially when you get all three types. Mindflayers and Chocobos as a team. got into that waterfall area and lost to 5 chocobos and mind flayers while i was training noob mage classes. Very dissapointed

Personally I despise Black Goblins, their Turn Punch attack is unblockable and only a few reaction abilities work against it.A very annoying enemy indeed.

Mindflares. I want to just kill off my entire party everytime I see those. They're always casting Berserk or Confusion on my guys, but Berserk is the worst.
