Who do you think should be the final four to finish off Kefka (as in, the final-show down with the final fourth tier which is Kefka himself)? For who I think deserves to get to kill Kefka story-wise , it should be
Terra - He tried to use her, tried to kill off her whole esper race and use them as magicite, killed General Leo, who she was attached to. And besides, she's the main character of the game. Cyan - Kefka murdered his whole kingdom and his wife and kid Celes - Kefka tried to use her as well and tried to turn her against Locke and everyone else Locke - Kefka was still a part of the Empire, so he could be avenging his old love Rachel, and Kefka tried to destroy the relationship him and Celes had going on And Terra should also be the one to deal the finishing blow, preferably with a Ultima spell or Maduin/Tritoch summon. Since Story-wise all the characters gain magical/ have nigh-magical powers I do believe that, all of them having grudge's personal, global, moral, against Kefka, then, Story-wise they should all give him a combined final blow of force.
Hmm...digression: Mog and Umaro are the least "personally" involved, so I don't know if they would takee part in the blasting...but, then again... ![]() -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Plotwise? Terra.
Realistically? Shadow. It's his profession. You know if there was some sorta established hierarchy with who got to off Kefka he'd do it in lightning speed before anyone else blinked, then demand ridiculously high payment. Wouldn't anyone? -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. Well, yes, but he doesn't have any 'real' grudges with Kefka. But I understand where you're coming from. Terra should be considering she's the "main" character, but I honestly would like to see Celes do. It may even even help to back that up since she became the central character in the WoR. -------------------- I fear my heart and fear my soul Life goes on, it surely will, Without me and I wonder: Will I ever see light again? Hmm...digression: Mog and Umaro are the least "personally" involved, so I don't know if they would takee part in the blasting...but, then again... Yeah but there's that disapearing Moogle, Narshe turns into Monsterville thingy. The only person I think wouldn't be there for an appropriate combo kill might be Gogo. He had no Grudge against Kefka, save for the story he's been told and he also has to mimic everything anyway so initialtion just isn't his thing. Here are the ideas that I have: 1. Combination kill. Like SilverMaduin said, they all have a grudge against Kefka so it would be fitting. 2. Terra - She was the first to be tormented by Kefka as far as we know and who knows to what extent? Possible spoilers: highlight to view Remember that Emperor Ghesthal did kinda steal her away from her parents. Because of that, it's only logical to assume that she was raised in the Empire, somewhere near the Emperor's right hand man . . . 3. Cyan. Don't kid yourself, the instant I said it, you all knew why. Unless you didn't get to that point in the game that is . . . Well that and he's a highly noble warrior anyway. 4. Gogo. This spawns off of the Combo kill idea. Everybody hits Kefka except Gogo who has no personal grudge but it doesn't kill him. Gogo, seeing his newfound friends in danger, uses Mimic and thirteen extra Gogos magicly apear beating the crap out of Kefka, each using every charater special, for a second time. 5. Anybody. Hey, they were all on a quest specificly to kill Kefka once the WoR started and all had their personal grudges against him. They'd all do it given the chance. Also, I'd find it very funny if Relm was the one who officially killed him. Especially if it were with a paintbrush or Ultros Incident type event. Yeah, Terra and Celes are probably the characters with the most reason for hating Kefka. Maybe Cyan, too.
That said, I'l like to see the Chancellor of Figaro kill him. Off King Edgar goes to fight Kefka, leaving him in charge with little or no notice. It could get kinda stressful. |

Ok, after you deplete Kefka of all his HP, a movie starts. Terra in morph form with Celes summon a bunch of espers. They all glare at Kefka and then charge up their energy. Cyan jumps in, performs a super fast 16 slash combo on Kefka, then jumps out of the way for Terra, Celes and the espers to all unleash a huge blast of energy to finish him off.
See, it would have to be a team effort of some sort because Kefka messed up a lot of the characters' lives. It's a toss up between the characters already mentioned, except Gau. ![]() -------------------- FFXI (Siren server) Tauu the Windurstian Tarutaru! White Mage & Paladin |

1. Everyone. No, not just everyone whjo joins your party, EVERYONE. They all lend your group their energy in a spirit-bomb type thing. After all, he destroyed the Earth, it only makes sense for the Earth to destroy him.
2. Terra and Celes, simitaneously, with antipode. What? Marle and Lucca did it with fire and ice magic, why can't Terra and Celes? 3. The vengeful ghosts of General Leo and Emporer Geshtahl. Terra must cast her vengance on the so called "Trusty Empire" that placed a slave crown on her and... well... used her as a slave!

Cyan of course. Kefka ruined up his life.
Runner up: Terra. -------------------- "Right and wrong are now what separate us and our enemies. It's our different standpoints, our perspectives that separate us. Both sides blame one another. There's no good or bad side. Just two sides holding different views." - Squall Leonhart |

Terra, with a Maduin summon. It'd only be fitting that Terra's father got revenge for what had happened.
By the way, Possible spoilers: highlight to view I do realize that Gestahl would already be dead but it would still be revenge in the way that Maduin would be able to wipe out that last remains of the Empire with his own hands. -------------------- ~ Aurora, exhale bloody air! Dark Holy! ~ |

I say the phantom train-esque ghosts of everyone and anyone who died at the hands of the empire ought to get the last punch in. Immagine it, a whole plethora of little white robed people, dragging Kefka off mumbling their dazling catch phrase, "N.o E.s.c.a.p.e..." And yes, that includes Madonna and Cid (If you bumped the old fellow off. Hey, his death was a result of Kekfa messing up the world, right?)
Or not... Well, still working on the premise that need for vengance = rights to last shot, then Certainly Cyan, Terra, and Celes, for reasons mentioned above. As for the last slot, I'd say Edgar. His father was belived to be poisoned by the empire, and Kefka himself marches out to his castle and atempts to burn it down when he doesn't get what he wants. The empire also occupies South Figaro for some time. If that's not a valid motive for vengance, I don't know what is. -------------------- TURKEY! - (The only way not to get blocked for using Fowl Language) |

It should be Terra, Celes, Edgar, and Locke. Sabin, Cyan,
Terra is the main character, and after learning about her past, it’s only fitting that she’d want to kill Kefka for revenge. Celes should also be included. Kefka used her, had Locke think she was still with the Empire, and she’s the main character in the WoR. The same thing with Locke. Kefka also tried to burn down Figaro and took over South Figaro (Empire, really). Although both of them failed, Edgar should want revenge for it. I would’ve liked to seen a scene where all the characters fight him. Imagine this… Umaro and Mog start first by executing a duo attack with Blizzard and Quasar. They move out of the way for Strago and Relm to use Grand Train and a portrait of the three Guardians. As they’re finishing their attack, Setzer throws a flurry of cards and coins at Kefka, which is then imitated by Gogo. Jumping above everyone, Interceptor dives straight at Kefka with Shadow on his back (Wishing Star anyone?) and quickly attacks him with 5 swift bites and slashes. Gau eyes glow blue and Terrato appears beneath him. Both of them dive at Kefka, piercing him with Earthen Spikes. Riding the spikes are 10 Sabins who attack Kefka with single, powerful, strokes. Sabin backflips from Kefka and in a quick second, he is slashed in the guts by Cyan. Running at full speed towards a weakened Kefka, is Edgar with Locke on his shoulders. Edgar has a shining sword in his hand, and Locke wields a dark dagger. Approching Kefka, Edgar uses a horizontal strike, whilst Locke stabs him from above. With their palms together, Celes and Esper Terra glow blue and red. They charge at Kefka and with each step they take, an Esper is summoned and uses its attack on him. The last Esper to appear is Maduin who joins the party. Finally, everyone screams, ‘Ultima!!!!!!!!!’, and the two girls use a viridian colored blast to kill the madman. I think he should get so overwhelmed with power, he makes the Tower shake severely, and turns aim of the Judgement Bolt on himself, which, well, judges him. Crispy Kefka, anyone?
And then, his Guardians can try and fight you but as Kefka's power is gone, they slowly deteriorate in battle. ^.^ That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it! -------------------- You're telling me that there's no hope. I'm telling you you're wrong. |
