This is a very simple question: How many gaming systems (including computer and handhelds) do you own out of all of the possible systems, and what are they
for example, i own a GBA, Nintendo DS, gamecube, PS2, X-box, really old Game gear, n-64, Original nintendo system, super NES, sega genesis, PS1, and of course a computer. I will update if i find out any more that i have (PS: if you have a favorite game of any system, you may say them) -------------------- <DrkMagimaster282> MWAHAHA. I, DrkMagimaster282, shall wreak havoc and destroy... <Mother>TIIIIIIMMYYY...are you planning evil, unkind revenge again in the bathroom?? <DrkMagimaster282>UMMMMMMMM...NO. System: Favorite Game, put down in the order I got them
*NES: either Mega Man 3 or Castlevania III: DC *SNES: Chrono Trigger, with Mega Man X a close second PSone: Castlevania: SotN *N64: Legend of Zelda: OoT *Sega Saturn: NiGHTS into Dreams (to be fair, I haven't played the SotN Saturn port... but I heard it rules) *Sega Dreamcast: Skies of Arcadia, with Soul Calibur a close second PS2: Devil May Cry 3: DA XBox: either Ninja Gaiden or Prince of Persia: TSoT (I know it's multiplatform but I have it for XBox... so sue me) Gamecube: either Legend of Zelda: WW or Skies of Arcadia: Legends Edit Jeez, I forgot computers and handhelds... here goes. *Macintosh Apple LC II: Aamzon Trail **Dell Latitude D600: Age of Mythology, and ZSNES, FCEUltra, NeoRAGE, and Project64 emulators GB: either Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening or Tetris GBC: Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, with Oracle of Ages a close second GBA SP: either Fire Emblem or Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Yes, I indeed still have both a PSone (the mini-version they released like five years after the first one came out) and a PS2. I don't have to change memory cards all the time that way. Also, I've gone on quite a spending binge since I graduated from high school; I got both my GC and my XBox last summer * means I sold the system and all the games I owned some time ago. Edit As of April 24 2005, the Saturn's been sold, too. **Ever since I got my laptop as a graduation present and my parents got the entire house running on wireless, I've never used the home computer. My sister couldn't be happier. This post has been edited by laszlow on 27th April 2005 04:48 -------------------- |

I'll list a favorite if I have one (I'm assuming Nintendo Game & Watches don't count).
Atari 2600 - Adventure (surprise!) Apple II (outta commission) - The Oregon Trail (w00t!) Colecovision - Woulda been BurgerTime...if it wasn't an awful port GameBoy - Kirby's Dreamland Nintendo Entertainment System - Adventures of Lolo or Super Mario Bros. 2 Sega Genesis - Pirates! Gold Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Final Fantasy VI and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Nintendo 64 - Jet Force Gemini and Star Fox 64 PlayStation - Final Fantasy IX PlayStation 2 - Metal Gear Solid 3 and Katamari Damacy GameCube - Resident Evil 4 (possibly my favorite game this gen) Nintendo DS - Kinda early, but the Metroid Prime: Hunters demo can only mean I'll love the full game when it comes out. '99 iMac - Pfftt...HA HA HA HA!!! Hee hee... -------------------- Words of Wisdom: If something can go wrong, it will. If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway. If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong. - Murphy’s Law Boing! Zoom! - Mr. Saturn |

I don't currently play them all but I do have 'em. I'm going to count combination games as a game but I'll list my favorite individual game as well if I use do use a combo.
Nintendo: NES; Super Mario Bros. (Best Game Ever) SNES; Super Mario All*Stars+Super Mario World (It's a combo cart of All*Stars and Super Mario World meaning it's Mario x 5, if combo games don't count Super Mario World will do fine by itself) N64; Super Smash Bros. (One of the few fighting genre games I enjoy) NGC; Megaman Aniversery Collection (Would've been Super Mario Shunshine but almost every major game in the Megaman Franchise beats that out by quite a bit.) GB Pocket: Red/Blue versions of Pokémon (What? I don't like something then just stop suddenly, it's just not me) GBC: Crystal Version of Pokemon (I count a GBC game as one that cannot be played on the older gameboys. Crystal fits that bill and is virtualy the same as the other games in the series.) GBA: Pokémon Saphire Sega: Genesis; Sonic the Hegechog 3 & Knuckles (Two cartridges join to become one heck of a great game and Hyper Emeralds rock, Sonic the Hedgechog 2 otherwise) Sega CD; Sonic CD (Only game I want or need to justify having a SCD, I'm not too good at it though.) Saturn; Rayman, (It's my only game for the system, I really want Knights into Dreams though) Sony: PSX: Final Fantasy Anthology (FF V and VI, VI as we all know is wonderful and I like V so far. FF VII otherwise.) Computers: Macintosh; Performa 6116CD, Specs: Power PC Chip 601, 128 Megabytes of RAM 600 MB HD (Clock speed 60 Mz, Bus Speed, 30 Mz Game: Apple Works? Just kiddn' it's actually Escape Velocity, a nice little expandable shareware game for pre-OS X Macs. Macintosh eMac Specs: Um, I didn't take the time to check them out thouroughly. After OSX came out, I kinda didn't want to relearn everything about how to use the OS and became disinterested in that sort of thing. Favorite game: Escape Velocity: Nova. It's a fun, expandable shareware game that just about everybody with a computer can play, check it out, if you can stand the wait. Well that's about all I have. The grand total comes round to about 13 consoles. 14 if you count the Super Gameboy as both a console and seperate from other gameboys. I have way too much time on my hands. -------------------- |

Geez, compared to you guys I don't own many systems...
NES SNES GBA Until I bought my GBA, I hadn't gotten a new system since 1991. My parents stopped buying* me stuff in the mid-90s. It wasn't till I was working and could afford such things as video games when I bought my GBA. I wanted so bad to get a Playstation when I heard that Final Fantasy VII was coming out for it. *- Anything that's not necessary. If I wanted something that fell into the toy/game/makeup/magazines category, I would have to (find a way to) buy it myself. -------------------- kame, tortue, tortuga, schildkröte, tartaruga, turtle "Arthur Dent?" Well, Kame, I have to say I feel your pain. All I have is a PC and GBA. I did have a GBC but I gave it to my sister. Technically I have a snes as well if you count an emulator (although I have to give a disclaimer that emu'ing is WRONG. Especially if it is me doing it.)
