I just wanted to know which monsters, when poached, become valuable items? I barely learned it (yes I know bad me) and poached a Bull Demon and got the Battle Axe, any suggestions? Also when you find rare items during Propositions do you just get what it's worth in gil?

CoN includes Frequent & Rare poaching Items for each monsters. I think you should go look at it Frequent Paching 75% time Rare Poaching 25% time I jsut find it really strange that with the Wildbow, the frequent item is the ribbon while the rare item is the FS bag... Who the hell likes to fight with bags anyways ![]() If you mean "valuable items" being items that can be sold for a lot of money then don't poach, it will take too much timme to make money that way. Monsters that you frequently run into or that you can fight against since the beggining of the game won't ever give you good stuff. So search for rare monsters like tiamats. Note: Wildbows can only be obtained via Breeding This post has been edited by Zodiac on 1st April 2005 11:57 -------------------- Sayonara |

Try to poach monsters in the Deep Dungeon as many of them will get you good stuff.

I want to poach for the Blood Sword (I think it's from Vampire-Cats) and the Defender (one of the tree-like monsters?). The perfumes and ribbons are also items that I'll make a necessity for poaching.

I really don't like the hassle involved with the Deep Dungeon, so to get poaching items from Behemoths, Dragons and Hytras I use the Bariaus Hill wacky battle, which comes up more often than one would think. You can find all nine palatte-swappings of those three monster types except for the Tiamat, I think.
Edit The best items you can get from that method are the Setiemson, Cherche, Salty Rage, Stone Gun, Rubber Costume, Blood Sword, and some other less-than-useful things. This post has been edited by laszlow on 1st April 2005 22:30 -------------------- |

And one more thing, earlier during a proposition I found a Magic Gun and the Bar Keep was in awe of how I found it but it's not in my inventory, which leads back to my "Do you get to keep the items you find in Propositions?" Question

Items found in during propositions are not inventory items, but artifacts. All of those items you find but can't use are listed under "Treasure" in the Brave Story.
