An intriguing villain always makes for a better game. Got an all-time favorite? I'll give it an elite eight, again in honor of possibly the greatest ncaa tourney I have ever had the pleasure to watch. In alphabetical order to avoid rankings:
Dhaos, Tales of Phantasia Dracula, numerous Castlevania games Galcian, Skies of Arcadia Kefka, Final Fantasy VI Pokey, Earthbound Sigma, numerous Mega Man X games Wiegraf, Final Fantasy Tactics Vergil, Devil May Cry 3 -------------------- |

oo, thats a tough one laszlow. i thought kuja of ff9 was pretty damn cool. but honestly, magus freakin rocks. he was a villain at first so i think that counts. i think his character and persona set chrono trigger completely off. it was like a cherry on top, lol. i agree with the sigma fave. but concerning the megaman series, although he only made a couple of appearances, i really liked dynamo. he was the freakin man. maybe its just cuz i liked his battle muzik so much lol.

serious villain favorites:
Queen Zeal (Chrono Trigger) Exdeath (Final Fantasy V) Kefka (Final Fantasy VI) stupid villain favorites: Dr. Wily (Mega Man series) K. Rool (Donkey Kong Country series) sheer coolness favorites: Ridley (Metroid series) I will reserve the last two spots for future villains. Edit: Well, technically, Ridley's not cool, but he's hot. No, no, not that kind of hot, you...what the hell ever. Last enemy from Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2
Possible spoilers: highlight to view Sarafan Raziel. As a character, he's not very interesting. It's just that when you fight him, the situation is just too awesome. Demon Raziel, carrying Wratih Blade Raziel, armed with Blood Reaver - Raziel's final resting place - against Sarafan Raziel. What I like best is the fact that Sarafan Raziel seems so much more...'Raziel' then Demon Raziel, arrogant and poetic. Demon Raziel seems so passive. That Uroburos sign on the floor really does it for me ![]() This post has been edited by Djibriel on 29th March 2005 20:54 -------------------- |

Dhaos (ToP) Definatly takes the cake.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view Near the end of the game, you find out that his goals are the same as yours: He wants to preserve magic -------------------- Link: "What is it?" Baralia is right it is kinda hard one but:
Magus/Chrono Trigger, he was cool considering Possible spoilers: highlight to view You can get him on your team without cheating Sephiroth/Final Fantasy VII, now heres somone to admire when he finds out he was a test tube baby he goes nuts and kills everyone in his way. Now theres a perfect child if I ever saw one. This post has been edited by Zeil on 29th March 2005 21:47 -------------------- Money is no good unspent. Sephiroth, Kefka, and Kuja from FF9 are the best in my opinion. Ultimecia makes the top 5 with Queen Zeal. Best personalities for villains, too. Nothing like a sorceress who manipulates other sorceresses. Very much like a supermodel...
