This is an old Cait Sith fanart I did back in August 2004 I think. ^^
I drew Cait Sith and the moogle in pencil and scanned it in. The colors and background were all done in Photoshop with a mouse. XD
I look back at this and thank everything that's holy for tablets because it killed my hand. ^^;

Good god, that's amazing! Now THIS is nice.

I love the way you define your characters and your background. The background has no outlines but the characters have a thin, unnoticeable but very present outline that really draws them out and makes them pop out of the background. The effect is great.

The shading on the moogle part is amazing: it looks like it's been painted with a brush and not CGed as such. Very good. It's less obvious on the cat part, though, and he looks a little more "plastic." Not an altogether bad thing, but the different look and feel, however slight, feels a little unusual. I guess it's mainly the colors; black is less noticeable, and my monitor is starting to have brightness problems.

The background is very colourful and lively, even for a Gold Saucer bg. The way you play with colors is great and it really makes the scene feel "alive."

The coloring is nice and pretty and it looks almost identical to the real picture! Nice job, with the shading and it definitely captures Cait Sith's love of Gold Saucer.

Heh, this was my wallpaper for a few weeks. Very nice. Cait Sith is my favorite character from FFVII.

Yeah that one in the gallery is a pretty old one I did back in 2002. ^^;

The drawing was based on the pic of Cait Sith at teh Gold Saucer, I turned him around and tried to give it my own spin. (so it can have some originality)

I may hate Cait Sith with a passion, but that is a really great picture.
